The Colgate Inn is located in the heart of downtown. The room we stayed in was very clean and quiet. After a long day of travel we enjoyed a bite to eat at the tavern. Wonderful atmosphere. Staff were polite and helpful. Off street parking available directly in back. Great place for a quick getaway.

Amazing place - lobby is warm and inviting, rooms are comfortable and quiet and the service is impeccable. The Tavern is a wonderful place to eat dinner and catch up. This hotel feels like an old-time Inn in elegance, taste, and care. Can't wait to return.

While there, we had a regional, power blackout. Staff was wonderful. Bar was open, so we hung out there. We had dinner in an adjacent city. When we returned, all was OK. We also loved the conversations we overheard which focused on the college. Not why we were there, but it added interest.

Nice but small for the price
The room was quite small for two queen beds, which is understandable given the age of the building but still a little disappointing for the price.

Wonderful!
We loved the Inn. Stayed 4 nights and were able to upgrade to a more comfortable room after the first two nights, which was great. The staff were wonderful and the restaurant had delicious food. Very charming place
