This place is in need of serious repair and updating. The rooms have a bad smell, and are completely dilapidated. New management apparently does not feel the need or have the resources necessary. It is also very difficult to understand their English. Service clerk was nice enough to give us a new room after complaining about the fish smell on the other side of the motel where dead fish on the lake were spotted. It is too bad what has happened to this place. Locals informed us that this place used to be well taken care of until new management took over.

Still a great little motel! Clean, tasteful, comfortable beds, good cable choice, quiet, new air conditioners. If they'd only get grab bars in the showers,that would be a big plus. There is no bar/lounge. Highly recommend.
