There was hot water and toiletries, which is a marked upgrade from some of the other places in Sri Lanka. The bed was very comfortable & they had adequate towels, which was also not common in many places where I have stayed in Sri Lanka. The food was relatively unremarkable, advertising basil & rosemary ice cream, when in reality, it was just vanilla ice cream with dried herbs sprinkled on top. Maybe stick with the Sri Lankan country dishes. An easy walk to a quiet beach, wild surroundings but also had a TV with working cable channels. The bungalow was elegantly furnished with small animals right outside your door.

Facilities: The cottage is very cozy and well-equipped
Environment: It is in the national park, with many animals around. You can see elephants and Ceylon leopards in the hotel (I didn't see the leopard)
Service: The service is very thoughtful. It's too early to go to safari in the morning. The hotel can provide breakfast package.

There are no other disadvantages except that it is expensive. The hotel is inside the Yala National Park and there is no other place to eat. The room was booked including dinner and breakfast. Dinner is non-refundable, and the buffet dinner does not include soft drinks and water, which have to be paid separately.

There are not many hotels to choose from in Yala. Cinnamon is a local brand with guaranteed quality! And it's really close to the gate of Yala Park. It only takes 10 minutes for an off-road vehicle to pick you up in the morning!
The hotel is composed of small wooden houses, which are very suitable for local conditions. The hotel faces a large lake. You can see many birds and even crocodiles without going on safari🐊
The outdoor swimming pool faces the lake, shaded by green trees, and is not too sunny, which is especially relaxing
