Off season at BlueBay
My wife and I recently spent 11-days at Blue Bay in Afitos starting Sept 27 to celebrate a delayed 5 yr anniversary. Our stay at the Blue Bay was wonderful. We stayed in a double delux room 311 which is on the second floor with a 180 degree balcony overlooking the beautiful clear sea, and we could also look over to the right to see the Veranda, bar, restaurant, and pool. This was such a great room to view the sea. Highly suggest this room. It was super quiet at night, and very comfortable. The bed and amenities were wonderful. I mentioned to BlueBay we were celebrating an anniversary, and so they decorated the room with balloons! I had ordered sparkling wine and a fruit bowl which was fabulous and fresh. BlueBay suprised us with a decadent chocolate mouse cake! So so nice. Our room was cleaned everyday and was spotless! We were so grateful to the cleaning lady! At the restaurant the breakfast was good, a large selection of Greek specialties, fruit, pastries, coffee, juice, crepes. And sparkling wine on Sunday! The staff always greeted us with smiles. The entire staff was so very nice and accommodating. We needed a parasol for the beach, and so they purchased one we could use! The steps down to the beach is about 15 minutes, but manageable, and worth it. The beach is very nice. The beach was closed for the season. There are fresh water showers at the beach to rinse off after swimming. In all highly recommend BlueBay, great resort and very friendly staff. Thank you Blue Bay!

Tolles ruhig gelegenes Strandhotel
Das Hotel liegt in Aussichtslage auf den Klippen oberhalb des Strandes. Eine Treppe führt dorthin. Zum schönen Dorf Afitos mit diversen Restaurants ist es etwa 500 m. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und modern. Sehr komfortabel und sauber. Die Mitarbeiter nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war das beste was wir bisher in Griechenland hatten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Amazing hotel.
This is a great hotel! I highly recommend the breakfast and to enjoy the beach that is just below the hotel. Very clean and good service. The hotel is between kallithea and Afitos.

Lovely hotel but not beachfront
Lovely hotel situated on clifftop with spectacular views from every aspect . Our room was a superior double which was smaller than we expected but we had everything needed to enjoy our holidays . The bathroom was very nice with very large bathtub and shower with lots of complimentary toiletries ! Towels were changed daily and bedding every two days ! Staff especially in the restaurant and bar were really helpful and friendly . The setting is so peaceful and tranquil a perfect place to chill and relax . A few things to note - this is not a beachfront hotel situated 660 meters from center of Afitos - there are 170 steps down to the beachfront and the climb back up was horrendous in the heat . The beach is not very nice , we found much nicer beaches nearby . The walk into Afitos took us 30 minutes- I would recommend a taxi back after dark . Also the electric supply to the room is activated by putting your key card into the control slot at the door - when you leave the room there is no electricity to keep the fridge working , we spoke to reception who arranged a special key to leave in slot to keep fridge on whilst we were out . The hotel offers a transfer service to and from the airport , which they advised was a cost of €100 each way , we used our usual taxi firm who only charge €80 Euro each way and it turned out it was the same taxi the hotel uses for transfers ! Overall we enjoyed our holiday - we came home all chilled and relaxed

Otelin konumu oldukça iyiydi, tepeden muhteşem bir manzarası var. Otelden denize inmek arabasız çok zor, dik bir yokuşu var. Otel temiz ve düzenli denizi de tek kelimeyle muhteşem. Otel kendimi kahvaltı da geliştirebilir biraz zayıflı.

Nicest breakfast ever !!! Lots of choice to suit everyone's tastes. Rooms cleaned every day. 2 pools a small one and a larger one. Nice comfortable sun longers free pool towels. 1 euro for a beach towel. Beach is located down some steps need to be pretty fit!!!. Town of Afitos is gorgeous about 15min walk. Taxis are 5 euro. Lots of lovely places to eat /drink and great shopping. Take some beach shoes if going to the beach. All staff are really lovely and friendly very helpful. Had the best 2 weeks holiday.

Der Empfang am späten Abend war sehr nett und freundlich...auch die Suite und die Anlage selbst, sahen an Abend als wir ankamen super aus...wie gesagt,wir kamen am Abend an...am nächsten Tag, konnten wir uns alles genauer ansehen...für eine Anlage/Hotel, welche(s) preislich eher oben angesiedelt ist, hätten wir uns mehr erwartet...die beiden Pools sind leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und wiesen schon altersgemäß ihre Spuren auf...auch die Liegenauflagen waren verschmutzt und dementsprechend alt und abgenutzt...das Frühstück, wenn man vor 08.oo Uhr drüben ist, ist wunderbar...von allem etwas dabei...aber nach 10.oo Uhr, wird kaum noch auf das Frühstücksbuffet geschaut und es bleibt das übrig, was noch da ist...sehr schade...das Personal hingegen ist immer freundlich, gut gelaunt und aufmerksam...in unserer Suite war die Toilettenspülung so laut, dass wir dies mehrfach an der Rezeption bekannt gegeben haben...es war wohl der Hausmeister da, jedoch ohne Erfolg und somit mussten wir bis zum letzten Tag mit dem Lärm leben...nochmals sehr schade! Sehr zu empfehlen gibt es aber die Massagen und Gesichtsbehandlungen...ein absoluter Hammer ...auch Afytos selbst ist sehr schön...sehr viele Tavernen und Bars...und die Preise sind auch in Ordnung... Was jedoch noch ein negativer Punkt war, dass ist der Strand, welchen man nach dem Abgang nach 155 Stufen erreichen konnte...eine absolute Frechheit...verschmutzt,alt,unfreundlich und Preise wie in Hollywood!!! Das Hotel weiß darüber bescheid, teilt dies aber den Gästen nicht mit...sehr schade... Insgesamt waren wir so halbwegs zufrieden, doch 3 Sterne gibt es wegen den angeführten negativen Erfahrungen und Eindrücken...das Personal hingegen bleibt super! Wir haben uns während dem Aufenthalt auch andere Hotels angesehen...wir kommen bestimmt wieder, nur buchen wir ein anderes Hotel und dann können wir vergleichen...
