Nothing as expected! The hotel is very old and needs a complete renovation in order to have that 5-star rating! Nowhere in the description of the hotel you can find that the hotel does NOT posses a sandy beach with umbrellas!! Instead you use shadows of the olive trees, which might sound good but it does not give a feeling of being on the seaside at all!

Is taking me awhile to get round to writing this as I was so disappointed visited with my family for a special occasion in September actually ended up feeling quite sorry for the staff as the truth is this is not a five star hotel. The manager told us after we made several comments and complaints that they had been telling the holiday companies for several months that they were no longer rated as five star, we were greeted with mould in our rooms which were tired and smelt of cigarettes smoke. if you book a partial Mountain View, the likelihood is that you will end up in one of the subterranean apartments with a view of a brick wall damp and cold inside. The food was very average I’m afraid to say not hot not taste more like school dinners the staff in the restaurant were not attentive at all except for the head chef who after we spoke to him was very helpful. Tried to make the best of a bad environment, sadly, disappointed . The beach was dirty which I appreciate is difficult as you would almost have to clean it every day due to the power of the sea however we saw the same rubbish on the beach every single day in the same place and moved drinks are served in plastic cups disposable which we were told that they pay an extra tax to be able to use rather than reusable, certainly couldn’t call this sustainable hotel. The olive Grove by the beach was the best part in my opinion. It was lovely to sit underneath an olive tree rather than an umbrella and look out to the sea. The view is amazing.

This holiday was a treat for my husband and myself we’ve never been to Greece and just needed some sun and warmth. The holiday was all inclusive and although it was end of season and the hotel was closing down for the winter and we didn’t have all the options of when the season is in full swing, we had a calming and relaxing quiet time here. Which was 100% bliss. The hotel was lovely, very clean and presentable, the staff were so helpful, welcoming and warm. The food was delicious, we will love to come back again next year. Although we were the very last to be here in the season we found it to be paradise. Olive trees, Pomegranate tree, banana tree and some other fruits just lovely to see it all. Please, please, please don’t take in all you read in reviews, unfortunately I read some reviews that made me nervous about coming here, don’t listen to them. It’s your holiday and it’s what you make of it. People moan about food etc but you go to another country to take in culture and all it offers and to be honest there is always something on offer even for fussy eaters. The Anastasia is definitely worth a visit.

This hotel is not a 5* hotel in the slightest. I wish I read the reviews more before I booked this hotel. Decore is old and tired. The mini fridge was empty in the room and our safe didn’t work. Bathroom was old and Shower was leaking all over the floor. Nothing anbout this room and Hotel said 5* I was shocked and feel catfished! Asked for a room with a view and was given the view of bushes which they called mountains!! The food was terrible! I could not believe it when I saw it on that first evening it was very disappointing. Not much option at all and very basic. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so if you enjoy after dinner drinks in a bar somewhere you will be disappointed. No bar or shops for miles and too dark to leave at night to go anywhere. Every night I was in bed by 10pm, very sad! I will say that a couple of the staff are so so lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Nika ( not sure if spelling) but he went above and beyond for us when we asked anything and when he was serving. He definitely needs a pay rise!! Some if the other staff were miserable and looked like they didn’t want to be there! Please believe the reviews!! I’d definitely say book another hotel. I for one will not be coming back here

We went to celebrate special anniversaries with friends, chose a 5 star for more luxury , but this hotel was struggling to even get 3 stars , so much false information on their webpage, and most holiday operators had this hotel at 5 to No tea making facilities, bathrooms mouldy , shower leaked all over floor as no seals , this was alot of rooms to , our sink was dripping constantly had to have a new part , ( took 2 days ) hotel randomly chose to close bars , when it suited , plastic glasses in restaurant , food was the same most days , shop was empty , even though guests there till October , management, really did not want to know , staff work hard , and pool area nice , no snacks on all inclusive apart from half a sandwich, or a slice of cake , no children's buffet in restaurant , didn't see any animation teams around pool or anywhere , every thing falsely advertised , I would not recommend this hotel , even at a 3 star , it is remote and no bars , restaurants to visit nearby , no shuttle bus , so taxis only options

I´m in my 5th day here and I can not wait to see the final day and get out of this place. severely suffering from a backache due to an inappropriate old mattress. To be honest, I´m not even in the mood of writing a review as I believe nobody cares in this hotel or TUI as my package provider. The only thing I can say, is to please please take all the recent reviews very seriously for your own sake and change your hotel before coming here if you can. I don´t want you to experience the same feeling of guilt for ignoring these reviews once you got here. That´s all.

Let's start with a couple of positives, the view from the balcony was stunning and the food was OK (not 5* but OK). Difficult to know where to start with the negatives. As others have mentioned it is nowhere near a 5* resort, it's 3* at best. Everything looks tired and neglected. The room cleaning left a lot to be desired. The staff were generally friendly but there weren't enough of them, there seemed to be one barman for two bars, consequently the lounge area bar was permanently closed. If you want a pre dinner drink you're stuck with the pool bar drinking out of plastic cups. I could go on and on but I won't, suffice to say if you're looking for a genuine 4* or 5* experience then look elsewhere. How TUI can advertise this resort as a 5* experience is beyond me, that just makes a complete mockery of the Hotel ratings system.

I want to start by saying I rarely write reviews but want to warn potential visitors of what to expect. My travel rule is to book anything with 4+ on Tripadvisor and do not necessarily read the reviews, unfortunately in this case. How do these figures add up Tripadvisor when actually read the reviews? This is our final day, thank goodness! Over 45 years of travelling on package holidays, many with Tui, this will possibly be my last. This hotel is at very best a 3*, even then not as good as many 3* I have stayed in. How Tui can rate this as a 5* I could not comprehend, until I realised that they do not have a presence in this hotel, no information, no rep and no way of either seeing one or speaking to one. There are a handful of UK residents staying. Most travellers arrive in their own cars or on coaches from Eastern Europe, the place has a ‘holiday camp’ feel! Bathrooms are dirty, mouldy and not cleaned the whole week although towels are changed. The bad reviews are spot on unfortunately! We were not able to purchase a drink in the Hotel Bar - we were told the only way to get a drink in the evening, in a glass, was to order in the restaurant. All Inclusive guests, which most were, could get drinks from the pool bar in throw away plastic cups. There was no bar service for us either before or after dinner. This was unacceptable in a 5* hotel and spoilt our experience totally in the evening. There were no bars in the vicinity to walk to either!! No water sports here and have not been for years according to reception. Getting down on the beach would be impossible if you were not very mobile - the ramps are broken so you need to jump off the bottom. The whole sunbathing area in front of the beach is littered with rubbish and not at all cared for. The pool area is nice but there is a broken hanging lights inside the pool itself. There is no A La Carte restaurant, although the food is good if very repetitive. The whole hotel is tired, scruffy and unkempt - we had a lovely view at least which slightly compensated for everything else - I guess this is something they can’t ruin 😊 I have never posted pictures before but they tell a story in this case 👍
