We booked this place for our trip to Nova Scotia because it was cheap and looked good. Unfortunately, we could not make the trip as two members of our family fell ill one by one. THE MSVU team allowed us to first reschedule our reservation and the second time they allowed us to cancel the booking even though both times we were not entitled to it. They went above and beyond the T&C to cooperate with us given our situation. Both times the communication was fast and positive. Because of this whenever we go to Nova Scotia next, I would first check for their properties before looking at other options. I appreciate good customer service and these guys were remarkable.

It is a fine budget stay. No frills, clean, shared bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, easy access to transit, the mattress and pillows leave much to be desired but it’s a dorm. It was perfect for travelling on a shoestring, but would recommend bringing your own pillow.

Wouldn't recommend this place
Okay first of all, a Construction Company was blasting rock less than 200 yards from my window along with the heavy rock moving equipment going steady?The bed look the same as the ones used at the Paris Olympics? The pillow was flat as a Marshmallow, I did request another one , Gendelman did bring me one. Check myself out before 6:00am the following morning. Now let's talk about your scam , on your website I noticed the price was $56.07 total? Absolutely no mention that it is US funds until I checked-in ? Mount St Vincent University is in Nova Scotia Canada not the United States of America? So would you price in US Currency? To whom do I contact for a refund?
