2-Star Hotels in Halifax

The hotel is ideally situated in walking distance to most shops and the town centre. It is not flashy and areas of the hotel are a little outdated but it was ideal for what I needed whilst visiting Halifax. The bed was comfy and the staff are super friendly! I instantly felt welcome and very comfortable to ask for assistance if I needed it. I would stay at The Old Post Office again. Top tip: if you are a solo traveler and rooms are not showing as available, then phone The Old Post Office directly. I was told the rates are £48 per night for solo travelers.

What a little gem Some rooms a little dated however this was more than made up for by Melissa the bar manager and the restrant staff by both the service and food. Chiefs both morning and evening could not be more helpful cooking to our tastes and the food was amazing. Nothing to much trouble and the food both evening meal and the breakfast was amazing. All staff were knowledgeable and more than happy to be helpful with places to visit and try throughout our stay. Melissa was so friendly and helpful and sorted out a blip we had with our room she even came to make sure we had parked in the correct carpark. Please try don't listen to the negative reviews well worth a try we have had a great weekend x We will definitely be back for the Christmas markets 😁
