Hotel Délibáb

After paying a 50% deposit, we were asked to pay the remaining 50% upon arrival because “they wouldn’t have time at check-out.” We booked three rooms, but it was not possible to have breakfast in different time slots – all three rooms had to go at the same time, even though we explained that some of us wanted to eat earlier, others later. The room was dirty, the bedding was torn and very worn. The staff was unfriendly and completely lacking any customer-focused attitude. The only positive part was the kitchen – the food was delicious and the kitchen staff were kind. But the biggest issue: there were bedbugs in the bed. After the first night, we decided to leave early. We showed the bugs to the staff, and they claimed the wind must have “blown them in.” (!) We told them we didn’t want to use the infested room anymore and could share the other two rooms. They agreed but insisted we still pay for all three rooms in full. Our disappointment could have been at least partially compensated if we hadn’t been charged the full price for the night with bedbugs. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a huge disappointment, and I regret booking here.

Pros: - Beautiful suite, with beautiful furniture. - wide range of pillows to choose from (even memory foam pillows) - two-seater jacuzzi - delicious food, buffet lunch/ supper - excellent wellness / spa facilities Cons: - bathroom have not been cleaned on arrival, jacuzzi was full of various kinds of hairs… - We had to buy some detergent and clean the jacuzzi ourselves… - TV is not smart (that is not a big deal), however usb slot is inaccessible, making it impossible to watch movies through a pen usb stick. -variety of vegetable options leaves a lot to be desired. Eggs eggs and more eggs on the menu (breaded egg, egg stew, ratatouille with egg).

I think Hotel Delibab is the best wellness where we have ever gone. I am gluten intolerant so I am very important gluten free food. Hotel has got so many gluten free food variant. There was smorgasbord and every food has got a paper on which write a food name and what is contain, for example gluten, milk.. I ask gluten free bread for the waiter. So my experience is very good.

The hotel is great. Clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff are friendly, respectful and polite. The cleaning ladies whom I met were very nice, helpful and polite. There was a slight mistake once with my bill at dinner but this was very swiftly and professionally resolved. Top marks. No issues there. The spa is lovely. The pool with the bubbles and colour changing lights are a big hit with the children! The food is good. A multitude of options to choose from! The desserts offered at dinner are delicious! One slight negative is the fact that the rooms we were offered were right above the construction that is currently going on at the hotel (possibly for a parking lot). We were on the first floor and work started between 7-7:30am. Very noisy. However, we are early risers, so I didn't mention it to the team. The upside of the rooms was the view of the lake and the multicoloured, lit fountain, at night, in the middle of it. Beautiful! All in all I would definitely return and would recommend this hotel! They offer a variety of services. The price of the room also includes entry to the Hungarospa right next to it for the duration of your stay. An added bonus! We had a great stay. Thank you! My children and I loved it!
