The room's exterior wasn't anything special, but the inside was actually quite nice. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and hospitable. The bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area, and surprisingly, even a bidet toilet seat! Everything was excellent. I was here for Eason Chan's concert on the 13th, but I won't dwell on the disappointing details. I simply didn't have the energy to argue with Damai (the ticketing platform) and the organizers, so I just got my 1880 refund and decided to spend that money on something else instead. I ended up treating myself to Hainanese rice noodles, Zao Po Cu (sour soup), Qingbuliang (sweet soup), coconut water, Hainanese chicken, pandan layer cake, Xinglong coffee, and other local specialties in Haikou's Qilou Old Street. (It's super convenient that you can even mail purchased specialties!) Overall, it was a great experience, and if I return to Haikou, I'd definitely choose to stay here again. You can step right out and immediately find local delicacies and admire the unique architecture! This whole trip really lifted my spirits; otherwise, I would have been truly gutted by the concert debacle and the typhoon.

First and foremost, the location of the hotel is fantastic. Situated close to various amenities, I found myself just a short walk away from restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Whether I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat or explore the city's vibrant culture, everything was easily accessible. This convenience truly enhanced my overall experience, making it effortless to immerse myself in the local atmosphere.
One of the standout features of the hotel was its friendly and English-speaking staff. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff who were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They provided me with detailed information about the hotel facilities, nearby attractions, and even recommended some must-visit places in Haikou. Throughout my stay, the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, making me feel valued as a guest.
The rooms at the Hampton by Hilton were modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. My room was meticulously clean, with comfortable bedding and a well-appointed bathroom. GGuest UserOn our way back from Wenchang after watching the rocket launch with our child, we spotted Mission Hills Hotel, a place we'd stayed at before. Seeing such a great price, we booked it right away! I recall when Mission Hills first opened; it was quite a sensation, and we felt so proud to stay there. This time, with our child in tow, we arrived to find the doorman as friendly and enthusiastic as ever – truly maintaining their high standards. Even though it was almost midnight, the front desk attendant politely and gently handled our check-in, making us feel the hotel's service genuinely exceeds five-star expectations. Our room, while small, was immaculately clean. The thick carpet immediately conveyed its luxury status, and the room smelled wonderfully fresh, completely free of any odors. They thoughtfully provided a children's toiletries and slipper set for our little one. This attention to detail made us feel incredibly warm and cared for. Throughout our one-day stay, every staff member greeted us with a smile, making us feel completely at home. Mission Hills Hotel truly is a super five-star experience!

Getting around from here is a breeze. The room itself was impeccably clean; the bedding was neat and soft, the floors sparkled, and even the bathroom corners were spotless – it was a truly comfortable stay.
The service was exceptionally thoughtful. The staff were both enthusiastic and efficient, always ready to help whenever needed. The airport pick-up service was particularly excellent; the driver was already waiting at the airport, proactively helped with luggage, and the ride was smooth all the way to the hotel. I didn't have to worry about a thing! I had such a comfortable stay that I'll definitely be back!

The perfectly scented aroma completely dispelled travel fatigue. The room was warmly decorated and clean, and the pillows were especially comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for someone prone to insomnia. The restaurant on the fourth floor served Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine, and I particularly enjoyed the Hainanese-style salted lemon tea, which was tart and sweet with a hint of salt. My stay at the Mu Nan Hotel has made me want to visit Hainan again. It's a shame I forgot to take photos, but I'll make up for it next time.

GGuest UserWhenever I visit Haikou, this is pretty much my go-to hotel, and it's truly fantastic. It's a villa-style property, with each unit boasting its own private courtyard. These courtyards are equipped with swings and rocking horses, perfect for kids to play on, and there are also lovely areas for a leisurely stroll. The surroundings are very peaceful, and crucially, it's conveniently located close to both the high-speed rail station and Wuyue Plaza.
The hotel rooms are spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning cools down super fast. They even have a projector with a large screen, making movie nights incredibly enjoyable. What's more, they include a streaming membership, so you have access to a vast selection of films – it really adds to the comfort and relaxation.
The hotel has its own private parking lot behind the building. This means you never have to stress about finding a parking spot, even if you return late at night – a definite bonus!

CCynthiaxing0420Service: The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating with room requests. We asked for a quiet, non-smoking, high-floor room that wasn't a corner unit, and they delivered. Very good.
Facilities: This hotel has been open for almost 10 years, so you can't expect it to be up to current 5-star standards. However, it still has the essentials: a bathtub, a three-part bathroom (separate shower, toilet, and sink area), an electric bidet toilet, a pool, a gym, and an all-day dining restaurant. The only downside is that laundry service is extra, which isn't very convenient.
Cleanliness: The bedding was mostly satisfactory, and I slept very comfortably.
Ambiance: It's generally fine, but you can tell it's a bit dated.
Breakfast: The selection is mostly pastries and desserts, with very few hot dishes. The hot soup and noodle station had decent seafood congee and very good Hou'an noodles. However, there was no Zhaopo vinegar in the morning, and the egg rolls were just so-so.
The apricot jam was good, but the half-apricot syrup was quite mediocre.
Other local specialties included Qionghai multigrain dishes. The Pandan flower buns were delicious and highly recommended.
The pineapple buns weren't good.
The Pandan coconut floss buns were also quite nice.
Location: Pretty good. It faces Haikou Bay and is not far from Wanlu Garden, about a 7-8 minute walk. There's also MixC shopping mall and the Guomao business district nearby, offering plenty of dining and entertainment options.

JJianwangxuanIf you need a place to stay for one night due to an early flight or train, I absolutely recommend this hotel. It offers excellent value for money; for just over 300 yuan, you get a huge room with comfortable bedding. There's a shuttle bus from the airport every half an hour, and it only takes a few minutes to get here. To get to the train station, you can walk through the hotel directly, and it takes just five minutes – super convenient. The hotel windows are also great; you can barely hear any airplane noise.
The downsides are that the soundproofing isn't great; you can hear people talking in the next room. Also, when I called to ask about the airport pickup, they didn't clearly specify which gate to wait at for the shuttle bus; we had to ask airport staff after we landed. Another issue is that the hotel towels are too old and dirty; I suggest replacing them, as they were quite disgusting to look at.

FFahad TufailWe booked a room to have a short trip to haikou. hotel location is good. House keeping work is very satisfying. There is no Lobby Lounge, the one had was not operational. Very less Breakfast items. Not much options in Breakfast. No good amenities in room. not even slippers for the shower area.

GGuest UserI was pleasantly surprised to see the room. The environment is quite good, very suitable for a family or friends to travel and stay. The sun is very bright and the balcony overlooks Rongshanliao. Looking at the seaside makes me feel very good.

GGuest UserOne of my favorite places in Haikou. A stone’s throw from the beach and about two kilometers from the west coast boulevard, which has restaurants by the beach. It offers a cool swim in the swimming pool and a hot soak in the large hot tubs. The rooms are clean, the bed is soft, and the TV is enormous. Breakfast could be a tad better, but given the price, it’s pretty good. The only thing I missed was a cup of black coffee
