I arrived with friend, Sept. 6-7, 2024. Shared single beds, (bed was for a child (I’m 5ft 11 inches) though hotel said it was adult. Could barely move, While sleeping fell from bed. Room very small for 2 adults. Bathroom, shower big enough for adults. Has parking, but no spaces if late. Bed & breakfast. No restaurant.

I typically don’t leave reviews but we were so disappointed and I wish I knew this before booking…. We booked since the reviews were so high and I’m not sure how that is. We booked the suite so we can spoil ourselves (granted we have only a few nights w/o kids). For the price of the room: 1- it was pretty bear although that was not a big deal in my books (there is another hotel we booked down Ben Gurion I won’t mention for integrity reasons that generally was much cooler aesthetics and amenities wise). Bathrooms were tiiiiiny! 2- the toilet was dirty when we arrived! I cleaned it with disinfecting wipes and it had urine drops all over! I really can’t describe how gross that was. I would have still not complained to the front desk, cleaner was lazy, happens? 3- last straw was that the vent right above the bed where you sleep was full of mold! So essentially, operating the AC in any way would blow mold onto our faces while sleeping! The room was not cheap it was wayyy too high (by 200 at least) for what you get and we stayed at two additional hotels at the same price, whole different level of quality completely! The hotel manager Hila, offered a spa for free. This is NOT a spa hotel in any way and we had 0 time to do spa. We asked for a partial refund at least as it was too late to find a different hotel. Hila gave us 10% back on the FIRST night only which is beyond a joke! It literally felt like she is giving us the middle finger! Seriously?! I steered away friends from a booking here, you can find WAY better options then here just a block away!

The property is charming and cool. The people are friendly. However, I paid extra for breakfast to discover when we got here they don't serve breakfast but give you a voucher to a restaurant nearby (too far in the pouring rain and not kosher). If I need to go out for breakfast I don't expect to be charged extra, I'd rather choose my own venue and pay myself. Additionally at these prices I expect at least a light continental breakfast to be provided. The hotel offers nothing except wine, water (to be bought) and coffee.

Nice decor but no breakfast and poor service. The hotel is a nicely decorated old building. Very pleasant. Negatives are that there is no breakfast. You can buy a breakfast at the restaurants in the vicinity. Not great. But the biggest issue is that the place is poorly managed. Twice over a trip of four days the room wasn’t cleaned or serviced. Although I complained, after the first time, it happened again a day later. That’s poor service! Will not be coming back.

First time for me at this wonderful urban oasis, and I am deeply impressed. The attention to detail is incredible and everything about this place screams high quality and relaxation. The staff is incredible, design is fantastic and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. My favorite new place in town.

A charming hotel, right in the heart of the German Colony in Haifa. The room I stayed in seemed to be part of the original Schumacher house, but that part is incorporated into a new hotel. The hotel is charmingly eccentric and very comfortable. The breakfast was simple, but fresh and filling. I especially liked the yogurt with cut up fresh fruit. All sorts of little perks abound: Nespresso machines in the room, bottled water, and coffee and dates and treats in the lobby. Best of all, the hotel is a block away from Ben Gurion Street, and there are restaurants galore, as well as a five minute walk from less formal dining options, like shawarma. Ask for a garden view room.

Great location, great service by the team. The design is beautiful and modern. The hotel is very clean. We had a great weekend there. We strongly recommend staying at the Schumacher when visiting Haifa. The hotel is located in the German colony which is the best place to be in Haifa

It is a “modern” hotel, working to be hip! The staff are friendly, room is very small for 2 people. The breakfast is very limited and if not there by 8 AM it is gone. Location is good, near restaurants, wine store and pharmacy.

It is located two blocks from the main street in Haifa, it's a new hotel with comfortable beds, two terraces, breakfast, and nice staff. The pictures sometimes show an old hotel but that is just the reception, the hotel is brand new with state-of-the-art technology.

This was a pleasant surprise in downtown Haifa-an urban escape. It is a recently furbished hotel with all the pampering amenities in a lively spacious room. In house there is 24/7 bar with hot/cold /cappuccino/espresso machine for public use. There is an outside surrounding garden, as well as a rooftop in the 7th floor with beautiful views. The staff is professional and curtious. All together it was a lovely stay.

Good service. Clean room. Helpful advice and directions. Good recommendations for local cuisine. Nice coffee(cappuccino )machine! The location was bit difficult to find though. But, we did get there. It was good to be near a local pharmacy.

This is a boutique hotel that feels like it is leaning in a budget direction. Worst of all is that they are deciding not to serve breakfast at the hotel but sending guests out to a restaurant that opens too late. The beds are comfortable, and the shower was hot.

Very comfortable and charming hotel in Haifa. The style is Urban Chic, so the room is rather spare. There was only one drawer and a couple of shelves to place my things. The bedside tables are small shelves with room for a glass of water and phone. The bathroom was a glass cube with about one third of the glass frosted. I was traveling alone, so it didn't matter, but not all travelers sharing a room would feel comfortable. Amazing beds, not too firm not too soft. The staff is also amazingly friendly and helpful. You barely have to phrase a request before they are figuring out a way to make it happen. The hotel is located close the many good restaurants and the Bahai Gardens. They have lovely outdoor spaces on the ground floor, fourth floor and roof. The only major downside is that they don't serve breakfast. My room had a mini fridge so I could have something on hand. Would I stay again? Probably. If they ever start serving breakfast, definitely.

Sleek modern boutique hotel. Very clean. Helpful staff. Great location. We could walk most everywhere in town. Free parking included in price. We loved sitting on the rooftop. Wonderful view of the city and the Baha’i Gardens at night. All lit up. See included picture.

My husband and I stayed here five nights. We loved this historic beautiful building with an intimate feel. It has wonderful 4th and 7th floor roof areas with lounge chairs and gorgeous views. There's a main floor lounge/coffee area with coffee and cookies. The staff is warm and welcoming. The location is good. The rooms are very modern and nice, not large, but big enough. Everything is clean. Our family had two other rooms and also really enjoyed staying here.
