My wife and I have visited this hotel twice in 7 years and we were very satisfied each time 😁. The service is good, the food is delicious and includes a good selection (half board). The rooms are nicely furnished, the beds are good - everything you need for a (short) vacation. Only the Harz itself has significantly fewer trees 🌲😕. Recommendation 👍👍

This year, too, my wife and I spent five wonderful days in the wellness oasis "Hotel Restaurant Walpurgishof" in the run-up to Christmas. Our expectations were exceeded time and time again. The spacious and immaculate comfort double room offered us the ideal retreat. Equipped with a balcony and a modern bathroom, it lacked no comfort. Our palates were pampered daily with a varied breakfast buffet and varied three-course menus (we had booked half board). The spa area, although small, once again proved to be a pleasant oasis of relaxation. Cleanliness and a calming atmosphere dominated this area, which offered a sauna landscape and a refreshing swimming area. The wide range of treatments in the wellness area, such as the "aroma bath for two" that we booked, is particularly praiseworthy. The warmth and attentiveness of the staff contributed greatly to our well-being. From reception to the restaurant to the spa, we were always warmly welcomed and looked after. Our five-day stay at the Hotel Walpurgishof was an unforgettable break that we will repeat next year. A big thank you goes to the entire team for this relaxing time.

Wir waren jetzt das zweite mal da, alles war wie beim letzten Mal, das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer war sauber, das Essen war gut und reichlich. Im IndorPool waren wir auch, auch hier alles sauber. Von hier kommt man super zu Fuß zur Rodelbahn oder den liebesbankweg. Wenn wir in den Harz fahren, kommen wir bestimmt auch ein drittes Mal vorbei.

Wij hebben hier enkel in het restaurant gegeten. Gedurende een hele week aten wij elke avond een ander menu en die waren stuk voor stuk uitstekend. Niet echt goedkoop, maar prijs/kwaliteit echt een aanrader.

Die Leistungen des Hotels waren sehr unterschiedlich. Wir waren zu zweit mit Hund da, das Zimmer war, mit Ausnahme des Geruchs im Badezimmer, gut, die Lage allerdings weniger. Mit dem Hund ist eine enge Treppe zu besteigen, die Zimmer liegen direkt hinter der Etagentür und sind auch von der Ausrichtung zur Rathausstraße nicht wirklich ruhig. Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen ist die Lage des Hotels aber klasse. Das Frühstück war wirklich gut, das Abendessen (in der Halbpension 1 Abend Menü, 1 Abend Buffet) hätte man sich besser sparen sollen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich professionell, das gilt für das Restaurationspersonal, insbesondere am Abend, allerdings weniger. Die kostenfreien Parkplätze am Hotel sind wiederum gut, ebenso der Wellnessbereich.

Wir waren für 3 Nächte im Hotel und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, was auch mit an den netten Hotel Mitarbeitern lag. Das Zimmer war modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet und das Bett sehr bequem. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig mit Wurst aus dem Harz und frisch gebackenen Eiern und Pfannkuchen. Einen Abend hatten wir auch das Buffet, was klein aber fein war. Die gebuchte Rückenmassage von einem sehr netten Masseur hat uns ebenso gefallen. Nur der Pool war uns mit 25 Grad (lt. Mitarbeiter) zu kalt. Das war sehr schade, da wir das Hotel gerade wg. dem Pool ausgewählt hatten. Ein großes Plus ist auch noch die Lage im gemütlichen Ort.

Ein tolles, familiäres Hotel mit schönem Spa-Bereich. Unsere Juniorsuite war riesig und hatte einen tollen Blick auf die Stabkirche. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und hat Harzer Wurstspezialitäten zu bieten. Lokale Spezialitäten findet man sonst selten auf Hotelbuffets. Die Massage war super.

We celebrated a great family reunion with around 30 people in this very good hotel. The coordination with the management staff was excellent and the rescheduling of the date due to the pandemic was accepted without any problems. Our guests were very satisfied with the rooms, the ambience and the service, as my wife and I can confirm. Our planned get-together turned into a lavish celebration, which can only be achieved through the well-being of everyone present. The excellent care provided by "Maria", the good house spirit, was particularly noteworthy. The food was excellently prepared and was consistently praised by our guests, as was the great breakfast selection. We can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience and if we ever meet again in the Harz, this hotel will be our first point of contact again.
