Our stay at HaGoshrim exceeded our even high expectations. It was like a little oasis. Spacious and comfortable rooms (we had the garden suites). AMAZING food. There were so many options at the breakfast and dinner buffet and all delicious. There were plenty of activities to do in the area, like rafting, horseback riding (ask for the farm on the property run by Soof, who does riding classes and tours out in the gorgeous countryside). The pool is huge and very comfortable. We were there for 2 nights, but I would be so excited to go back and spend more time at HaGoshrim and in the surrounding area.

Great place for all family. We had 2 nights in 2 suites during weekend B&B. Disabled friendly all around but not sure about showers and bathtubs. Possibility to ask for transportation on a golf car to dinning room and pool. Pastoral, quiet, big pool, spa, gym, great breakfast. Great service from all staff. The atmosphere at the dinning room was bit crowded and noisy because of the acoustics. Families with children running around putting everyone in danger of spilling hot food. Breakfast with plenty of choices but less on Shabbat. Suites were clean, air conditioning was a problem because of the location of the air conditioners (right in front of the sofa and the bed straight to your face), all the amenities in toiletry. At the pool you can have towels free, there is a food truck open certain hours only. Showers and toilettes there were clean. Plenty of seats and beds around the pool. There is a supermarket a walking distance as well as a snack store at gas station. Restaurants close to the kibbutz (check for opening hours on weekends). Recommend !

room is very large and clean breakfast was wanderfull the hotel locatuion is close to a lot of very good restaurants a lot of out door activities staing at Hgoshrim was very realaxing for all familly includ children and seniors

We spent a few nights here recently. While the room and facilities were a bit dated, we went in with modest expectations (pastoral country) and were very happy with our experience!! Pros: - The staff were all very helpful (particular shout out to the bar staff!) - Our room had 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies (fabulous!) - The bed was comfortable - We had some amazing treatments at the spa (again, don’t expect luxury facilities as the spa locker room is extremely basic!) - We had a wild parrot visit our balcony every day - There was really great music every night in the lobby - There is a nice gym Otherwise… - The dining room was quite hectic and loud (there are limited dining options, so just be aware of this going in) - The food was fine, but not a highlight of our stay Summary… If you’re looking for a pretty country place to chill out, and you don’t need 5-star luxury or super updated accommodations… well this could suit you, too! We certainly enjoyed our experience.

An Israeli tour guide that we met in Tel Aviv said this hotel is fine for Israelis but not Americans. I agree with that assessment. We had opted for premier hotels with our tour group but HaGoshrim falls woefully short of this standard. We were first assigned to "classic" rooms which are of a quality better befitting a hostel. Our room had a sewage odor, was miniscule in size, and appeared not to have been renovated since the 1960's. After complaints were registered on behalf of the group, we were upgraded to the next level of rooms in the main building. These rooms were larger and more modern but were most similar to what you would find in a Holiday Inn. We were disappointed that the outdoor pool was not yet open for the season even though the air temperature was quite warm. The indoor pool was a "healthy" walk from the rooms but was overflowing with young children. The breakfast buffet was quite good (as expected in Israel) but this "hotel" on a kibbutz fell far short of our expectations and we would not recommend it.

The classic rooms don’t even rate 1 star. There is no way to describe how bad the room was but the bugs chased us out permanently. We paid more and upgraded to a premium room which was ok but nothing to write home about. Our request for towels was never fulfilled. I think they were too busy accommodating upgrade requests. Everything else was as described in other reviews. The Middle East is full of fabulous resorts and if you are searching for that experience don’t come here. If you want to stay in the Golan Heights apparently this is as good as it gets.

All I can really say is that we had a wonderful weekend at Hagoshrim, the service was all first rate, the meals were as tasty as can be (in respect to the Kashrut regulations that are not always the most delicious) , Housekeeping was outstanding, pillows fluffy, comfortable and the hotel staff practically bent over backwards especially in order to help my partner who is paralized.
