My husband and I stayed in the new building.We chose a room with a sofa because sitting on tatami for long periods of time was tough.The living room was made of Ryukyu tatami and the bed was raised a step above the floor, giving it a very modern Japanese feel. It was good. The toilet was on the left side of the WASHROOM and the unit bath was on the right side. Dinner and breakfast venues were changed, and it was also nice to eat while looking at the Japanese and Western gardens.
