Hampton Inn Hagerstown

Great service, some details with the cleanliness but no big deal

This is by far the best, cleanest and friendliest hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were spotless and the bathrooms were clean. My tv greated me when we cut it on. We stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast was different each morning and was always hot and tasteful. I highly recommend this hotel and we will be visiting again.

We were looking for a hotel near the highway for one night in Hagerstown. We chose Hampton Inn since we usually like the brand. Check in was okay. I was not recognized as a Hilton Honors member. I chose my room when I checked in online, but was given a different room since the room I chose was having plumbing issues. We had a 2 queen bed room. We were really surprised to see that the bathroom opened right out to the room and right next to the bed. In all the Hampton Inns we have stayed at, the bathroom is located around a corner from the sleeping area. We did not care for the room configuration at all. The closet space and the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were all off in the corner of the room next to the second queen bed. The AC was loud and annoying. The fan did not run continuously, though we tried to set it to do so. The fan going on and off was disruptive to a good night’s sleep. There is work being done on the first floor. You pass a room they are working on as you head towards the back of the hotel door the elevator. Our room was clean and we had plenty of towels. The breakfast had some variety and was ok. The employees we encountered were friendly. Checkers and Sonic restaurants are right next to the hotel, so that’s convenient for a quick bite. We got some food and ate in our room after we checked in. I would not return to this Hampton due to the small rooms and imo, an odd layout. It is newly renovated, so the hotel does feel clean and fresh.

Room was fantastic afterworrying about renovation outside.

The staff (especially Karin) were some of the nicest I've ever met and my room was much nicer than expected. Full decent breakfast included too. Staff went above and beyond / out of their way to make this stay nice. Genuinely highly recommend.
