This restaurant has a free buffet breakfast.
The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the center of the capital Reykjavik. It is surrounded by a residential area with small lakes and churches, suitable for walks.
There are two types of rooms in this hotel. One is in the same building as the reception desk, and the other is an independent cabin opposite. The cabin has two floors. The first floor has a bed and a bunk bed, and the second floor has two beds, which can sleep up to 5 people. But the stairs to the second floor are very narrow. There is a bathroom on the first floor. The sewer in our room was blocked. The next day, we notified the front desk to repair it, but they didn't come. Later, we couldn't take a shower, so the hotel arranged another room for us to use the bathroom in that room.
The hotel's sauna room has no bathroom or changing room. The sauna room is for mixed use by men and women. Some guests chose to be naked, so we did not go in.

We had an enjoyable 3-night stay at Hotel Viking. The location is in the mid-way between the airport and the city center. The room is clean and the breakfast is delicious. The only thing not perfect is the room is a little bit small. We will stay again in future.

friendly staff，the sauna and hot tub were clean and nice。。。。our room was perfect， but if you are picky with drinking water， bring your own to the room。the water from the tab is drinkable， but has a lot of sulfur in it and smells this way。
the breakfast was very good， different coffee， waffles， bread， porridge，fruits，。。。。

Nice hotel. Very stylish exterior. The hotel is very conveniently located on the way from Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik. We stayed the day we arrived in Iceland and the last two days after traveling around the island before returning home. Good breakfast. It is very important that there is a restaurant that is open from 18:00 to 22:00, because in Iceland finding food after 17:00 is another challenge... Free parking. There is a supermarket nearby (500 meters on foot). The Airport-Reykjavik bus stop is also near the hotel (50 meters) for those who do not rent a car. Highly recommend if you are happy with the price of this hotel when booking!
On the downside, the tap water smells like sulfur, but this is Iceland - a country of geothermal springs!))
P.S. the hotel has a free swimming pool with geothermal warm water + sauna for visitors. They work until 22:00.
