Good stay

Good location, quiet place and very clean.

Everything was fine. Highway access stinks. Hotel can not be accessed from the west because of a medium. Two seniors, after dark returning from dinner, ended up driving miles out of our way. Would not go back. Check in lady gave us a list of restaurants but no address's. Had no idea of mileage, just said not far away. Next morning saw restaurant coupons on counter. She never said anything about them. Room and breakfast were fantastic.

The suites are set up nicely, adequate room, location, amenities. However, the bahama mama manager has severe unprofessional attitude. A problem arose between hotel and corp, the night manager offered assistance (had resolution), but the next morning, no one at desk knew anything about it, was not able to help nor understood HOW to help like the night manager did. We were referred to the manager to try an elicit help, but instead of listening (which she NEVER did nor gave you the opportunity to speak), she was/ is completely clueless of the issue/ concern we had, but thought she 'knew it all'. She went off on a tirade, saying illogical unrelated things and then hung up. Little did she know the phone was put on the bed in the next room and we could STILL hear her YELLING through the phone. SO unprofessional. This woman needs a lesson in what a REAL manager does. 1. You NEVER EVER speak first. You ask questions, get all info. Get all sides of issues, then you actually have facts to work with and can resolve. 2. You MUST always remember, while being paid (on the clock), everything you do and say affects the reputation of the company; not herself. She must act in a manner that RESOLVES issues not create more. Her loud obnoxious personality and VERY opinionated thoughts blinded her to the duties of her position. This woman should be fired, she still does not know the issue, and utterly failed to get a good review for her lack of civility, professionalism, and intelligence. If you do not want to deal with staff like that then stay elsewhere, otherwise, you will take the brunt of her ignorance.

I have stayed at this hotel before and thought it was reasonable, but I will never give them my business again. I booked a stay for three days on a cancellable reservation. The hotel called and left a voicemail on my phone saying that two of the days would be non-refundable and that they were going to charge my card for the two days -- in two hours. Fortunately, I checked my voicemail and was able to cancel, but this is ridiculous and very bad business. The idea that someone would make a non-refundable charge on a card without explicit consent from the customer is unbelievable.

This is a very clean hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was a large selection of hot and continental fair. We needed a wheelchair accessible roll in shower, which we did get, but the shower bench was not adjustable and sits about 15 inches high. Clearly not for any adult disabled person. So my husband could not shower. Room 125 needs an adult bench with an average to larger weight capacity for safety.

Stayed here while visiting my daughter at UMASS. There were many college students staying here for Blarney weekend, which is a huge party at UMASS and students can not have overnight visitors on campus. Guess they all stayed here! I was pretty concerned it would be a night of little sleep, but other than the pot smell, it was not an issue. I expressed my concerns to the front desk when checking in and they put me at the end of the hallway. They said they tried to keep all the college students near the elevators to reduce noise complaints. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows are super comfortable. I'm actually looking into how to buy a choice hotel pillow on line they are that good. I also really appreciate the night light in the bathroom. My main complaint is around breakfast. They coffee is a horribly watered-down coffee concentrate. Please provide a decent cup of coffee! Also, other than cheerios, bananas, apples, yogurt and hard boiled eggs there were no gluten free options. There were individually wrapped corn muffins that I think were intended to be the gluten free option, but upon reading the packaging the first ingredient was wheat flour. I asked the breakfast attendant, and she had no idea what gluten was and thought I was asking for a whole wheat item. She then pointed to the corn muffins. I told her they were not gluten free and she said that was all they had. I have been here in the past and there were gluten free, individually wrapped udi's muffins. Please bring these back. Also, don't put out wrapped muffins that aren't gluten free. This is confusing given the muffins in the pastry unit. One would assume they are allergy friendly since they are wrapped and in a separate location. They most certainly are not.

From the moment and we arrived, we felt welcome. Michelle was lovely upin check-in , and throughout our stay staff was friendly. We were there during a very quiet time, so felt like we had the place to ourselves. Room and pool was clean. Breakfast was good, with lots of options. Should we need to stay in the area again, we would not hesitate.
