The service at PHM is the best there is, really. Your host will go so far as to find you wherever you are on the island rather than text on Whatsapp. The general staff actually know your name and the managers will check in on you, also finding you on the island to do it personally. If you book a meal plan, you don't even receive an extra check to sign or give additional tip, you just get up and leave. You don't have to wear shoes anywhere on the property at all. The overwater villas (not just the sunset named ones) nearly all face the sunset, which is completely unobstructed with zero landmasses…sometimes cannot tell where the water ends and the sky begins because it can be so still. Also the water is so clear you wouldn't even know its there. The reef is literally unbelievable, all the fish you can imagine plus more and then some. If you're about to divorce, I would bet you can even fall back in love at PH lol. This really is a special property, and I would like to specifically thank my hosts Niso and Shamin, along with guest experience manager Avnish and server Sela for going above and beyond personalizing my experience! I plan to return soon for sure.

We had an amazing time at Park Hyatt celebrating our wedding anniversary. All the staff that we interacted were very professional and made our experience all the better. Thinn was an exceptional host who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. She was quick to respond to any of our requests, always with a positive attitude and genuine kindness. Every day, she checked in with us to ensure all our needs were met and that we were comfortable. Midway through our stay, when we requested a change of villa, she coordinated the transition seamlessly and made sure everything was taken care of. Ahmed, our guide from the Blue Journey dive shop, was fantastic. He led us on a variety of activities, including turtle quest snorkeling, night snorkeling, and discovery scuba. He made sure that every guest was properly suited up and understood all the instructions before starting each activity, ensuring that no one was left behind. But beyond his professional expertise, it was Ahmed's passion for the ocean that truly made a difference. His enthusiasm was infectious and sparked our own excitement. Together, we explored the house reef by snorkeling during the day, snorkeling at night, and going on our first ever scuba dive! Ahmed was always quick to point out creatures and plants of interest. Later on, he would provide more detail about what we saw and even share videos and photos that he took. It was clear that he wasn’t just guiding us—he was sharing a love for the sea and the creatures within it. Sathi, from the Dining Room, was also another gem during our stay. He was not only attentive but also radiated warmth and cheerfulness that elevated the dining experience. Every morning, he would check in on us, ask about our previous day's adventures, and inquire about our plans for the day ahead. His genuine interest in our experiences and his enthusiasm for sharing his own stories made every meal more enjoyable. We enjoyed every conversation with him, and it was fascinating to learn more about his life and his journey. We highly recommend Park Hyatt Maldives for your next stay. It is well worth the extra plane and boat transfer to reach this secluded resort and enjoy the house reef.
