Excellent location, many restaurants around, first-class scenery, sea view!
That elevator was so scary. We were trapped inside. We finally got out. The workers forced the elevator door open, but it was too high. My daughter jumped down but didn't stand firmly. She fell down the stairs and injured her foot. She went back to Lyon, France, to the hospital for treatment and was molded.

The price is fantastic out of season. The following comments do not change my overall very good rating. The apartment is clean and very spacious, although it is not new, so sometimes the door in the cupboard was difficult to open or a broken window in one of the bathrooms (I don't know if anyone reported it to them, maybe they just don't know). Minor missing equipment, such as a cloth/dishwashing liquid... but these are minor things. A beautiful view and with the window closed, the nearby busy street is quiet. In case anyone is wondering, the sofas in the living room do not fold out.

Aunque me hicieron un ascenso de apartamento por uno con una vista muy bonita sobre la bahía y que era ampio, lamentablemente el apartamento estaba descuidado por mantenimiento y tuve que gastar media mañana de mi tiempo de vacaciones para explicar lo que estaba mal y luego esperar al señor de mantenimiento para que arreglara unas cosas
Estuve un día y medio sin internet, lo cual me afectó ya que mi roaming de datos no funcionaba bien en el celular
La persona de mantenimiento fue muy amable y el personal de la recepción en el hotel podría ser más empatica con los huéspedes
El aseo no era el mejor, había migajas de comida en el piso y cabello humano en el baño

I had a great stay at this hotel — comfortable, clean, and with excellent service. After I left Malta, I realized I had lost my phone. The hotel staff, from the operations team to reception, were incredibly supportive. They found my phone and arranged to send it back to my home. Truly above and beyond! We arrived at the apartment after dark and it looked good. Later I noticed the mould in the bathroom and in the morning I saw the broken window at the front. There was no hot water in the kitchenette and no plug to keep the water in the sink anyway. We called into reception and they did send a maintenance person but he couldn’t fix either of those issues. Also the kettle had a European plug which didn’t fit into the (British type) outlet. We had to get an adapter from reception and there was a €10 deposit for that. Reception is in the Bayview Hotel. ST apartments has several different buildings in the area, our apartment was 2 & 1/2 blocks away. The built in refrigerator wasn’t cold but there was a bar fridge in the kitchen too, so we used that. The washing machine was out on the balcony at the back. The building appeared to have been put up in a hurry. The floor tiling was rough near the front window and the floor (tiles over concrete) made noises when walked on-even in bare feet.

On arival for whatever reason we were upgraded ro a seaview apartment.
Apartment needed some TLC but nothing that I'd moan about.
Overall good stay and in a good spot.
