If you love nature, this is the place for you! However, the hotel needs refurbishment. The villa looks tired and needs freshen up. So, no matter how good the room attendants clean the room, it still looks unclean. And the bonus is they have their own museum!!! The spa house needs an upgrade, the view is beautiful but inside needs renovation, no privacy esp when you do oil massage. Dinner buffet is good but should have different choices on the second night. Staff are helpful though

The walkway down to silk is a staircase, but not clear enough to walk, not dangerous. But there is no barrier between the silk, it is necessary to be careful. The sale package includes breakfast and dinner, which are served in a cool set meal. It tastes good. Good value because you don't have to go out to find food to eat. The breakfast garden is provided with both boiled rice and eggs, and coffee and bread can be grilled by yourself. It is worn and has many damaged equipment, I want to improve urgently. Cleanliness in the bathroom feels less because there are stains and like making the room unclean. Extremely unusable, should be improved For the inside of the mattress and the equipment in the room can be used, cleanliness is enough, just about the mirror, I want you to wipe it. Moreover, I feel that it is a lot of stains. As for the balcony of the raft, the outer terrace of the raft has many parts that are worn out and like the bamboo, it is very old and I think that the bamboo should be renovated in front of the raft room as well. What I want to improve is the bathroom and the cleanliness of the mirror in the raft. For the overall scenery, the upper floor is the garden view room, it looks more beautiful and inviting than the raft room. The lawn is beautiful and looks clean. But the cleanliness of the raft room Need to improve to be better For recommended points for worthwhile The payment is considered good because there is breakfast and dinner included, so you don't have to pay extra. But for the room score and cleanliness need to be improved a lot, not recommended to sleep in a raft room. Because personally I saw that it was not clean enough and the bathroom was highly worn, it should be improved to be better and then let the guests enter continue

GGuest UserFour of us stayed at the River Kwai Resotel resort over the Christmas holiday. Our rooms were bungalow-style with a shared porch. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The shower was very large and the amenities were adequate. They replenished the coffee/tea daily in addition to the waters. Even though other bungalows are very near, they do a great job of landscaping to block the views between them. Breakfast was ample. The restaurant is quite good, especially with its Thai offerings. They have 2 nice swimming pools. The one near reception is a smaller size while the one to the west of the main area is quite large. We enjoyed many swims. There are bikes available for use on grounds. They have some lounge chairs below at their dock. You can arrive by boat or car. The drive in is quite long and through a very rural area. It's quite amazing when you reach the end of the road and see this entire resort unfold. We spent some time and a little money at the neighboring Mon village. Walking up to the caves at the small, national park was also fun. Lots of up & down walking at the resort, too, as it's built into a steep, river valley hillside. Other than the bats at the cave, we didn't see much wildlife. There are a nice assortment of birds attracted to this resort area, however, and the morning serenade is lovely. They do have a small snack hut but the prices reflect that you are quite some distance from any competition. We all enjoyed our stay and do plan to return another time.

GGuest UserWe stayed here 4 nights in a deluxe riverview Onsen villa. The location is really fantastic, you are really far away from the ‘civilized ‘ world. Complete surrounded by jungle, mountains and the River. The villa itself has a awsome breathtaking riverview, and the private hotspringpool is devine. Specially at sunset, only sound of the birds and animals in the jungle. The villa interior is a litlle dated, so the bathroom is, no 4 star quality. The boys from the daily cleaningservice were very very good and very friendly,it was always very well done. Compliments. Reception and check in could be much better en more welcoming. There was a litlle unfriendly uninteresting atmosphere. The restaurant outside near the river could be wonderful, but the service and food could be much better. But we were lucky with the extreme friendly service of the young boys Tuk Ta and Win, and some others too. Thanks also the resortmanager, who was taking a lot of care with us. The whole pool area should need a renovation. It is such a beautiful spot near the lake, but dirty sunbeds, mostly no place to relax there, often no towels near the pool, and a lot of things are a litlle old and dated. GGuest UserThe accommodation is located in Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province, convenient to travel. There is enough parking and then from the parking lot, a short walk to the room. The accommodation has both a sheet and a room type, where the rooms on the shore have a private swimming pool as well. There is a restaurant that is delivered directly to the room, good taste, inexpensive. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained, there may be a problem with water leakage a little at the bathroom. As for the mattress, the view is considered beautiful, and you can clearly see the river view and have a natural view as well, as well as the swimming pool in front of the room is beautiful, allocated as well. It is an affordable price compared to a room with a private pool elsewhere. There will be only one thing to complain about that the breakfast is provided as if it is less, not enough, and the main equipment is lacking. Such as cutlery Makes you have to walk and ask for another one, which here must be quickly improved and fixed. We ordered 2 types of breakfast, boiled rice, you brought a spoon, but in a set of fried egg and work bread, or you don't even have a cutlery. How do we eat? You have to see it here. In the dishes, if you don't need to use the dishes that you have to go back to wash, you should use it once and throw away if you want to keep distance. Because it's like this, you still have to come back and bring the cutlery back. Still, it is a waste of time and it is a bad mood. I should have breakfast as well because it is sheep out and there is no spoon, no fork. Serving box food must be considered and meticulous about the comfort of the customers who come to stay as the main thing. If the appearance is done in a request, it will look not okay and the guest will accept it. I can realize that you don't care as much as you should, so if you have to serve food in a box, you will disturb you to take care of the availability of dining equipment again. As for the atmosphere of the room and the cleanliness, everything else is good. Please improve this.

GGuest UserBoutique Raft Resort is better than the pictures. It really is a beautifully presented property right in sync with nature. I stayed in a River Kwai Suite which was spacious and nicely decorated with huge windows facing the water. I agree the bathrooms could do with a freshen up, as other reviews have suggested. The fridge was well stocked and priced, however there was no tea or coffee making facilities which was disappointing and I was charged 100 baht for a L coffee. That said the staff were exceptional, each and every one of them, even with their very limited English. The General manager who owns and runs the resort was super helpful, spoke excellent English and was very hands on. The food was well priced, presented and tasty, although a little basic. I was led to believe it would be easier to book my tours from the hotel on arrival. Unfortunately this really was an expensive option as a solo traveller, as everything was a ‘private’ tour with the resort van. The bike tour was also unavailable. The other thing to be aware of is there are dogs outside the property and they were not friendly. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day :/ I decided to go for a walk and they surrounded me barking aggressively. I love dogs but this meant a quick exit. Unfortunately I felt confined to the property from then on, which wasn’t necessary a bad thing but I would have liked to go exploring. I highly recommend this property you won’t be disappointed and I would love to come back.

Disadvantages: The restaurants in the hotel are kind of expensive. The average price of a dish is 200+B, and it does not include 7%tax and 10%service fee. Buffet breakfast was so so.

AAnonymous UserThe resort has many types of rooms. If you don't call and ask, the reservation is incorrect. Inside is very wide. I'm tired of walking. Next to the river, cool breeze. The service of the employees here is 100 points. Everyone is very attentive, from the front desk to Bell Boy. The maid's room was well done and clean. But I would like to complain that there is no hair dryer. There is no doormat. and wifi doesn't work That is, I can't work at all. Can't use the internet because the signal is rather poor on the mountain. Other than that, everything is good.
