First impressions were so good, with a beautiful building in a perfect location, with really welcoming hosts. We stayed in Room 5, one of the large loft rooms for two nights.....lovely room! Beautiful view, spacious and clean with a comfortable massive bed! The shower was lovely, big, and again spotless. The location of the B&B on the bend of the river Wye meant wonderful views whilst having breakfast. We really felt spoilt. There was a lovely pub down the road called the Harp Inn, but not a huge amount of choice otherwise. A bus stop was located just outside, which was convenient and easy to get into Hay-on-Wye. Would recommend this lovely B&B.

Wonderful 3 night stay during the Hay Festival. Hosts were thoughtful, helpful and a pleasure to chat to. The view from our bedroom out to the river was beautiful. Highly recommend.

You couldn't wish for better, the hosts have thought of everything including cutlery, crockery and glassware in case you decide to eat in (In your room, or we had ours outside in the garden overlooking the river). Everything is spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. An easy to operate shower is always a bonus! Breakfast is delicious. We went to Foyles one night and that was excellent. A trip up Hay Bluff was a highlight. We chose the longer but not so steep ascent to the left from the Stone Circle car park. Quite a long way round but a lovely walk partly along Offa's Dyke path. The steeper route we did to descend, but it is quite steep. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Lots more to see and do nearby. I'm sure we will be back again.

My wife, sister-in-law and I spent two memorable days at this splendid Georgian guest house. A beautiful setting on an expansive property with dramatic views over the Wye River. The reception rooms and guest bedrooms were tastefully furnished in an attractive classical style. Bathrooms were small but fully modern in all respects. Breakfast provided on-site was excellent.

The hospitality here is second to none....attentive, courteous and generous. The bedroom was exquisitely comfortable and the extras in the room were just right. It was a real treat to swim in the river before a wonderful breakfast each morning, cooked to perfection. I am looking forward to finding a way to return to this peaceful and luxurious guest house. My wife and I were in Hay-on Wye for the weekend for a wedding reception. We booked Aberllynfi House which is just outside of Hay.The hotel is owned by perfect hosts Tina and Dave who both make you feel so welcome. We had one of the loft rooms which was ideal. It was scrupulously clean, it has a very big comfortable bed, a seating area, and the bathroom had a lovely big walk-in shower. The room also contained a very handy small fridge. The view from our room which overlooks the bend of the river Wye is beautiful and we are sure has been photographed many times. The breakfast is also lovely too. My wife and I can’t recommend this hotel enough and we hope to return at some point in the future

Stayed 2 nights in April and we loved it so much. Everything works so well and the room is large and comfortable with a great shower and bathroom. Breakfast was amazing. Set in the most beautiful part of both England and Wales. So much to explore.
