Forest Face Lodge

Forest Face Lodge is a truly beautiful place! The hosts were fantastic – very warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The rooms were spotless, the beds extremely comfortable, and the view from the window was just stunning. We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed every moment. Next time we visit Sri Lanka, we will definitely come back!

This is a truly wonderful place to stay. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well-prepared, making you feel comfortable from the very first moment. The breakfast was fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious – the perfect way to start the day. What made the experience even more special was the host, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Thanks to the warm atmosphere and great service, I felt very welcome and relaxed throughout my stay. I will definitely come back here on my next visit and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, hospitality, and a memorable experience.

A truly peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The surroundings were beautiful, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful—definitely a place I'd recommend. The entire property feels fresh and modern, with spotless, specious rooms, clean bathrooms, and a well-kept dining area. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy.

This was a beautiful stay in the forest. Woke up everyone morning and got to watch the monkeys playing on the balcony. The host and her family were gorgeous and very accommodating. Really well priced and room was very clean and modern for Sri Lanka.

We can only recommend the cooking class. First of all, everything is incredibly clean, everything is beautifully curated and you learn a lot about traditional singhalese cuisine. Malika was very patient with us and the whole process took us about three hours, besides the impressive dinner we had towards. Everything was incredibly delicious and the whole process, was so much fun. She also gave us the recipes afterwards as a PDF and we will definitely cook them back at home. Thank you again for the great afternoon and magnificent dinner!
