Esperienza piacevole , cibo buono, personale cortese ,villaggio molto curato e pulito. Peccato per i costi aggiuntivi per aria condizionata (10 euro a giorno)frigo in camera (5 euro al giorno)e Wi-Fi che sinceramente sono un po’ troppo alti, considerando che sono servizi abbastanza basici

Struttura carina, pulita camere ampie, noi avevamo un bel terrazzo,piscina molto bella. Spiaggia vicina con mare bellissimo , portare scarpette.. costo 20 euro ombrellone e due lettini. Unica pecca il cibo! Sono sicura che il cuoco potrebbe fare meglio .. Manca frutta fresca sia a colazione che durante i pasti, pasta scotta e sughi tristi e scarsi. Very quiet and relaxing village hotel, ideal for those who want to disconnect from the daily routine. There is no entertainment, the swimming pool is free, no beach service. Half board is available, for those who want to have lunch there is a bar and an open restaurant. Focused on sustainability, everything in the room (including air conditioning) is activated only when the room key card is inserted. Water and drinks for a fee, all marked on the room. Very good food and with adequate portions. Breakfast with buffet of sweet and savory things, vending machines for various drinks (a second coffee machine and similar would be useful); at dinner there is a buffet mainly of vegetables (Tropea onion always available), a first course, a second course and a fruit buffet. The choices of the first and second course for dinner are to be indicated at breakfast. For a fee, air conditioning, safe and minibar in the room. The hotel's wifi is essential because the cell phone signal is absent or poor; for wifi an enabling code is provided which must be renewed every week. Changing towels every 2-3 days. The idea of ​​limiting the environmental impact is a good one, an issue that can no longer be postponed. In my opinion, water at dinner, air conditioning and a safe should be included in the hotel costs, they are essential for a peaceful and suitable stay. We found the bed pillows a little high which did not make sleeping easier. There are no umbrellas/deckchairs on the beach, no agreements, either the beach is free or you rent from those who are there, we found Torre Marino on the right, currently 25 euros per day. The beach is a mix of sand, gravel, stones and rocks with crystal clear water. It is not possible to take long walks both due to the conformation and the interruptions of the coast. For those who love to travel and see the coast it is mandatory to have a car or motorbike also through rental (compare rental costs).

Beautiful village about 15 minutes from Tropea, an ideal base for visiting all the beautiful beaches in the area, all 15/20 minutes by car. Barbara will welcome you and you will immediately love her, with a smile, warmth and kindness that are rare to find, even all the rest of the staff and the owner are absolutely adorable and caring people, the food is excellent and the buffet is truly appetizing! the meatballs are DIVINE. Excellent cleanliness, well-kept swimming pool and garden. On the day of our anniversary we were supposed to go to the Aeolian islands but I had a small accident and I wasn't walking well, they welcomed us for dinner with a heart of petals and some bubbles. Hospitality that fills the heart... This place makes you want to return... and we will return! ❤️

Nice residence, well cared for and maintained. Garden and vegetable patch looked after by Mr. Mercurio and administration looked after by Mr. Francesco, make a functioning couple. The kitchen with zero meter vegetables 😉, the chefs and the dining room staff who always give a smile, is truly a decent 3 star. Always buffet, regardless of full meals, they have a menu that never repeats, at least for a week. Beautiful swimming pool, divided into three sections, even for small children, I think about 50 cm high. Preferable to take the car to reach other beaches. I highly recommend the village residence, it's not very big and the children can't go too far away, apart from the gate always closed 😉. A few days ago we returned from our wonderful holiday, myself, my husband, my son and his girlfriend and we stayed in Capo Vaticano in Calabria, a few kilometers from the picturesque Tropea. We stayed in the Resident "Old River" surrounded by greenery and just 500m from the sea ​​where Service, Availability and Kindness are written with a capital letter here, starting from the owners Francesco and Patrizia and then from all the staff we were welcomed with the utmost courtesy and availability. The structure is family-run surrounded by greenery and everything is well looked after down to the smallest details both inside and outside where maximum cleanliness reigns. I cannot fail to mention the very nice Mr. Mercurio, brother of Mr. Francesco, who takes care of the gardens with the utmost professionalism with the varied plants of every species that surround the Resident, not to mention the variety of vegetables that he himself grows, of which we were able to enjoy the their freshness and genuine flavor every day with a large buffet for both lunch and dinner cooked in any way that preceded the courses. The cuisine was excellent, genuine and plentiful for those with a good mouth starting from the breakfast which varied from savory to sweet depending on tastes. In conclusion we lacked nothing and above all the beautiful sea whose waters were very clean as were the beaches. I hope to return again. Nappi family
