Passing by this place on the way to Canberra, it is considered a satellite city of Canberra, very convenient for shopping and eating. The location of the hotel is OK. The balcony is suitable for sitting and relaxing. The room is spacious and has kitchen utensils.

The location is very good. It is very convenient for traveling in the Gangahlin area. All supermarkets and fast food restaurants are nearby. The facilities are very new and the rooms are not big but have everything you need. Hygiene is not bad. Basically, the accommodation is self-service, which I personally like very much.

Very bad. The reservation originally planned for the 21st to 30th actually had to fly back to Hong Kong and the hotel changed it to 21-22. The hotel did not agree and the remaining 8 days of rent were not refunded.

I’ve stayed at the Abode Gungallin about 5 times and have watched it slowly start to feel so somewhat dilapidated with stained carpet and chipped paint. We returned again for just one night and had to endure very intrusive music coming from the restaurant/bar next door. Though the hotel does provide a decent level of comfort with the rooms I feel that it doesn’t extend to the ambience. I think most guests would like to retire to their rooms and not hear the thump, thump of music coming from the restaurant. Unfortunately Abode doesn’t have much competition in the local area but we’ll definitely think long and hard before we stay here again. /

Clean and tidy room. Staff lovely at front desk. Convenient to shops and local restaurants also the light rail for travel towards the city.
