We stayed at this hotel the 2nd week in May when the season had just opened and had a wonderful time. As it was only the beginning of the season it was quiet which we enjoyed as everything was very chilled and easy. The sunbed and pool area is beautiful and has a great atmoshphere with the DJ and music playing and the pier is also a wonderful quiet place to sunbathe. There were plenty of sunbeds and no rush to get one - this may have been due to the fact that the hotel was quiet, however the pool attendants did move towels that had been left for long periods which was good to see. The pool and pier bars are well stocked and all the staff are friendly and attentive and always have a smile and a 'Hello'. We had a problem with our key card on the first morning and immediatley the Manager apologised and upgraded us to a garden terrace room which was lovely. Our first day there was Mothers Day and each lady was presented with a rose when entering the restaurant for breakfast and later that evening there was a cake and prosecco with a little firework display to celebrate. Rooms are stocked with a mini bar and cleaned well every day. The food was delicious, the restaurant is buffet style and the omellette station was great for breakfast. As soon as we sat down the waiter or waitress came along to pour water and get our drink order, tables were quickly cleaned and service was excellent. The food is generally the same staples including salads, pizza and soup and puddings, but with different hot choices each meal so a good variety and always something nice to find, we never had a bad meal and the serving times are very good . There is also a Starbucks and cakes all day which was great for a hot chocolate. There are a few cute cats who visit the restaurant and hotel grounds, they wander around and you can clearly see they are well loved by the hotel, it wasn't a problem for us but worth noting if you may be put off by that. A nice touch is 'midnight soup' until 1am, we were offered this when we first arrived as we arrived just before 1am, and we were able to get a drink from the bar on arrival too. There is an a la carte restaurant but that did not open until the end of the month, which was a bit of a shame but didn't spoil our week there. The animation team were fabulous and had a hard job as the hotel was quiet there were only a few people who joined in but they did a great job - especially the darts games which were fun. There was a disco each night until 11 so not too late for those who like an earlish night, and there were trips into Bodrum afterwards if you wanted to go nightclubbing. If you go downstairs to the pier and turn right it takes you on a beautiful walk where there are shops and little tavernas , we had food and drinks there, well worth a visit for a change of scenery. Bodrum is about 20 minutes in a taxi and about £20 each way or you can get the bus which takes an hour, we went to the Bodrum market which was a great experience an
