Das Hotel ist mit 24 Zimmer klein, aber eine Rarität per se. Lage traumhaft, Blick in die Weinberge. Die Chefin und Team eine Freude pur. Zimmer wunderbar, sehr, sehr schön. Frühstück 5 Sterne. Alles neu, geräumig, Alles in Allem eine Traumwohlfühl Oase. 101 % Empfehlung.

Anlässlich unserer Hochzeit verbrachten wir Ende April ein paar Nächte in der Turmhof-Suite. Das Zimmer mit Ausblick auf den Weinberg und die Wälder war ein Traum! Aufzuwachen mit direktem Blick ins Grün mit Vogelgezwitscher und frischer Luft ist hier aber kein Traum, sondern Realität. Das reichhaltige und liebevoll angerichtete Frühstücksbüffet haben sogar mich, als normalerweise Nicht-Frühstücker, überzeugt. Von Lachs, über Käse, Aufschnitt und einer großen Müsli-Bar…. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Eiergerichte werden am Tisch abgefragt. Unsere weichen Eier waren immer auf den Punkt! :-) Abgerundet werden die frischen und leckeren Produkte durch überaus aufmerksames Personal. Wir haben uns als Gäste sehr willkommen und wertgeschätzt gefühlt. Unaufdringlich und mit viel Gefühl für exzellenten Service wurden wir hier bedient und verwöhnt. Wer etwas Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit sucht, findet hier eine Oase der Entspannung! Die neue Sauna im Dachgeschoss bietet mit Ruheliegen in Wohnzimmeratmosphäre und zwei Dachterrassen den idealen Ort hierzu. Beim Saunieren kann man direkt auf den Weinberg sehen und Essenzen für Aufgüsse stehen bereit. Vielen Dank für die unvergesslichen Tage in Gumpoldskirchen im Hotel Turmhof! Bottom line - it was absolutely perfect stay and vacation for us (group of 3 couples). Due to flight delay and rental car issues we arrived at very late time (around 23:30). Our keys were ready for us at the key-locker. Next morning we were warmly greeted and asked if everything was OK on arrival. Without special request the staff even arranged a big table for us right in front of the window to enjoy the view during breakfast. We stayed there for a week and the table was ready for our group every morning. Rooms were big, clean and well furnished. Breakfast buffet was good, including individually prepared eggs by request. During our stay we’ve got few very helpful suggestions about places to visit and to eat (including assistance with reservations). It was perfect vacation stay and we totally recommends this warm family hotel for every one who is looking for enjoyable and lovely place.

Really lovely hotel in a beautiful little town. Warmly welcomed on arrival by friendly receptionist who told us breakfast times & that it was fine to leave our car in the large public car park opposite hotel ( free of charge ).Our room was large with comfortable bed, good power shower & was quiet, only thing I'd have liked was curtains as well as the blinds on the window as the sun shone in from early & made the room so light it woke us up. Breakfast had a nice choice on the buffet with any type of egg if you fancied. We were there when the wine festival was on & highly recommend a visit at this time as doing the wine route walk in the vineyards was fantastic.

Amazing hotel, the staff is super nice and helpful, the place is spotless clean, the room was very comfortable, and the view of the vineyards is beautiful. In autumn to that, breakfast was amazing, will definitely come back, thank you very much for a lovely stay.

We spent two weeks in this beautifully located, excellent hotel with a view of the vineyards, the town center just a few minutes' walk away with wine taverns and restaurants, and a wide range of excursion options. Very nice, large, modern and practically furnished rooms, an excellent breakfast buffet and such friendly and attentive service that you can't help but feel at home. We have already booked again and can highly recommend this hotel with its charming and courteous owner.

…the tower courtyard fulfills. Practically furnished rooms with wooden floors. Good beds, enough storage space. Opaque curtain, everything was very clean, very quiet and yet only a few steps to the town center. The boss and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Good tips for hikes included. The breakfast buffet is very well stocked and of good quality. Depending on the room, with a view of the vineyard or the town. We'd love to come back!
