Jasmin Beach Hotel

Location & Accessibility: The hotel is ideally situated near a quiet beachfront, just across a small road, and within walking distance to Gumbet's shops, bars, and restaurants. Convenient access to public transport (local buses to Bodrum and other nearby towns).

My family and I really enjoyed our weeks stay at the Jasmin beach hotel. The staff were all really nice and friendly and could not be any nicer. Rooms were nice and clean and cleaned on a daily basis. Food was ok and my kids always found something to eat between the buffet, restraunt and the pizzas that were made between 12.30pm and 4pm i believe at the terrace restraunt. The entertainment in the evening could be better as we spent 1 week here and we only had one act in giving a breakdancing show which was great however i feel they need more on in the evening to keep guests at the hotel. I would also suggest keeping the bar open a little later at night as this closed at 11pm. There was a day or 2 where there was a smell around the pool but i believe this was a bigger issue locally as when we ventured out at night the smell coming from the small canals running into the sea was horrendous. Overall the hotel was clean enough, staff were friendly, my kids enjoyed the water slides. What i would say is that i would not advise venturing onto the beach outside the hotel as this is filthy, covered in litter and cigarette ends and like i said earlier the canals from the street run into the sea at various points along the beach and it smelled horrendous and i am convinced this was sewage, so i would not advise swimming in the sea there. This is abolutely not a dig at the hotel as they are not responsible for this. The locals seem to abuse the beach which if cleaned could be an absolute stunning place.
