nous avons passé une nuit tres mitigée car tres bruyante. L'hôtel recevait un groupe d'une vingtaine de personnes sans oublier des clients qui sont arrivés apres minuit avec leurs bagages juste au dessus de notre chambre. Si le dîner du soir a ete au top tant par le service que les quantités ou les qualités des plats, le breakfast a été un desastre. Nous devions déjeuner vers 7h00, heure a laquelle la jeune fille est arrivée, elle était seule pour tout préparer et servir pour l'ensemble de L'hôtel. nous avons pu difficilement avoir un café vers 7h30, avons du descendre a la cuisine chercher un peu de lait qu'on nous a proprement jeté a la figure et sommes partis sans rien manger

Great room, although no A/C with the built-in fan it was excellent. Service was great and food didn’t take too long!! Great value in Gulu.

We had our 2 nights during the new year eve in Gulu at African Roots Guest house and food, staff were very friendly and quite, the room is clean. I highly recommend African Roots Guest house for your accommodation in Gulu.

I stayed there for 1 night. It is a good option if you wish to make a stopover between Murchinson Falls NP and Kidepo NP. Nice rooms with nice garden. Staff very efficient. The food at the restaurant was not my cup of tea. Too heavy.

Fantastic place. I enjoyed a night here after a week of roughing it in Karamoja. It felt very luxurious and pampering and everything was just great. And all for a very reasonable price too. I would love to come back again.

We stayed one night on the way to Kidepo. Very correct, with good service and food. The rooms are clean and the service is attentive. On the way back from Kidepo we stopped again to eat. Recommended if you are on your way to the north, or on the way back.
