I recently stayed at Hotel Ping Spring in Gulmarg, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations of a 4-star property. When we arrived, we were disappointed to find that the bedsheets in the room were dirty, which was a clear sign of poor housekeeping. The bathroom was equally unwelcoming, with a used shower kit left behind from a previous guest. To make matters worse, there was no hot water available for bathing, and we had to call room service repeatedly to address this issue. The Wi-Fi speed was extremely slow, making it almost unusable, and the heating arrangements were inadequate. The room had only one small heater, which was not enough to keep the space warm in Gulmarg's cold weather. On a positive note, the restaurant staff were polite, and the food quality was good, which slightly improved our overall experience. However, given the issues with cleanliness, amenities, and basic services, this hotel does not match the standards of a 4-star property. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements.
