It’s not always easy to find state parks with accommodations for our family of 8 (and our golden retriever!) but Gulf State Park Lakeside Cabins were perfect for us. Cabin was very clean when we arrived and had initial items like dishwasher pods and dish soap. The washer/dryer was great to clean up before heading home (bring your own laundry detergent). Our kids had so much fun fishing and biking around our cabin and we really enjoyed exploring the nature center, swimming in the pools, and playing on the basketball courts too. Less than 15 minutes to the beach. We even had breakfast at the Woodside Restaurant before heading home (pancakes, French toast, grits, fruit) and it was delicious. We will definitely be coming back soon!

We loved our check-in experience - very thorough, friendly, and accommodating. All questions answered, value-adds shared. The cabin was immaculate, roomy, and all needs supplied with just the right touch of luxury for a cabin. If anything, we felt the den furniture could have been a tad more comfortable (kinda hard). We also loved the many amenities that came with our rental and tried to take advantage of as many as possible!

We stayed in the cabins in the woods and they were fantastic. Clean, recently redone, and very quiet. There are tons of trails and free bicycles for use anywhere in the park.

It was Awesome! We really enjoyed the scenery and the biking trails. Our Only complaint is that the kitchen supplies in the cabin were very low quality.

It was amazing! The cabin itself was so beautiful and clean. Other than having to buy some things to actually cook, it was fully stocked with everything we needed. Not to mention the view outside! The lake was a stunning view. We even got to see alligators, right outside our cabin just swimming around in the lake. Everything was relatively easy to find and very accessible to the cabin with only a short drive or walk. I look forward to returning in the future!

Very nice cabin on the lake with a wonderful view. There is alot to do at the park. Free bike rentals and lots of trails. It was just too hot and humid for us to enjoy most of it.

The cabins are very nice and comfortable and easily accommodated my family of 6. The view of the lake and the trails were incredible! The drive to the beach is also very short from the cabins and because of our stay we got free parking at the beach pavilion. The water hose down stairs made it easy to rinse off the sand and the washer and dryer made clean up so much easier. We had a blast and will definitely be returning!
