There are also hostel rooms available. Formerly known as Alt-Schwanenburg, the estate includes 2 castles. The White Palace was built in the 1840s as one of the most splendid examples of Historicism in the Baltics. It now houses the hotel. The Red Palace now houses a school. We enjoyed our stay in hotel - clean, comfortable. Excellent food - breakfast and dinner. Very friendly and attentive staff. Old manor house is converted in modern hotel with all modern facilities. Surrounding (old park) is well kept, pleasant for walks.
