The hotel has a beautiful location. The antique building has been kept in excellent condition. We chose to stay in the Feature Double Room-old Hall. The room was very spacious, with seating area. A coffee machine was also available. Cool drinks in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious, individually cooked, with a wide choice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Most the staff here are lovely and very accommodating, however they is one member in particular with short black hair that is very rude. She clearly doesn’t like children. This makes me feel very uncomfortable when she’s on duty. So much so it puts me off going now. They was also another younger girl who was also very rude but haven’t seen her for a while so maybe she’s left. Shame because the other staff members are lovely. Think the two mentioned could do with staff training for common manners.

Third time I’ve stayed at Gisborough Hall and each stay has been superb. From the warm welcome, spotlessly clean room and delicious food I can’t fault my experience. Beautiful surroundings, it’s been the perfect escape.

Another fantastic stay in one of the gorgeous Shepherd’s Huts. We first came a year ago just after they opened and it was great to see that they are as lovely as ever. The staff are exceptional - really friendly and helpful and do all they can to make your stay enjoyable . We ate in Chaloners Restaurant while we were there and the food was delicious. The weather was good enough to make good use of the hot tub and outdoor seating/firepit and the setting is really quiet and peaceful. We will try not to leave it so long before our next visit!

My partner and I got married at Gisborough hall this July and the venue was absolutely stunning. The staff are so helpful and the food was delicious. We had our ceremony and dinner in the Glass House which I would highly recommend to anyone especially in summer as the gardens looked beautiful. The day was well organized and ran very smoothly which was all down to the staff. 10/10 and can't wait to go back - Harry and Rhia

The hotel was lovely. We had three really good nights sleep in the very comfortable bed. Pillows and duvets were beautifully soft. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Researching places to stay in this area, I came across Gisborough Hall by chance. I really wasn't expecting to be so delighted with all aspects of our stay. We chose a woodland view room which was peaceful and relaxing, exceptionally well appointed with both a step in shower and a separate bath, very comfortable bed and a sitting area overlooking the woodland, all with high standards of cleaniness. Dining surpassed my expectations too! As a trained cook who seeks fine dining, there was an excellent and varied choice of flavoursome food, cooked to perfection, beautifully presented on hot plates - that ticks all my boxes! And the icing on the cake were the staff who were all so very welcoming, engaging and nothing was too much to ask. I left my Kindle in my room and I so much appreciated the very quick return as I was about to have knee surgery - customer servicevat it's very best. I can't recommend Gisborugh Hall enough and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Saturday 21 June 2025. Visited for Prosecco afternoon tea with my niece booked for 16.00. Overcharged, and underwhelming experience. The hotel looks good from the exterior but is only average inside. Kids playing football on the tennis court then running around inside with their boots on. Not much tea for £39.00 per person. Offered a box when we wanted leave early thinking they would return with it packed but no.....empty box placed in my hand for me to do. Never again !!
