I liked this hotel! The location is great, only a 10-15min walk from the center. There’s lots of services around as well as buses etc. The reception is tiny and can be crowded at times. At first we had a double room (with two twin beds as requested) but it smelled of cigarettes so we were given another room with one double bed. I think that they should have knows the room smells (as it had been cleaned after the previous people left). The room was spacious and modern. The bathroom was a little small but it was ok. Our room faced the courtyard and was very quiet. There was also a balcony. The breakfast was good with a nice selection of savory and sweet items. On the day of checking out we left very early (before 6). The breakfast has already been set so we asked if we could grab something to go (our booking included breakfast) but we’re declined this opportunity. This seemed a little strange as we had paid for it and would only had taken a couple of croissants. So not a bad option at all, but service could have been better.

This time, I stayed with a friend for 2 days and 1 nights. I stayed on Saturday, but I went wrong to make sure I was in time for check-in on weekdays, and when I arrived, the front desk was over. Naturally, there was no one at the front desk and I was quite impatient, but if I was patiently calling the emergency contact information placed at the front desk, the gentle owner answered the phone. I was told the room number and managed to stay in the room. I was very grateful that I could check my money and passport the next day. We can't speak Spanish fluently, but the owner understood what we wanted to say and responded very kindly. I am very grateful. The room was clean and comfortable to spend the night. There are many restaurants and bars nearby, so I don't think you will have any trouble eating. I would like to take care of you again.

My opinion is the lack of seriousness of the establishment, I have a reservation since November 17, 2023, a quadruple room for 500 euros for 2 nights from June 7 to 9, and to my surprise Booking calls me because the establishment cancels it because now It costs 200 euros more if I want it, I called the hotel and they told me that they were closed from December to March and they are other prices, sorry, I told him that I booked in November and Booking does not confirm without the establishment's ok, what happens is that it is the triathlon and there is a lot of demand and they want to abuse it, it is filthy and I hope it remains unfilled, because that is not done

We chose the Western District Hotel, as we always do, for the good criticism he had about the quality of service and cleaning, and - with the high expectations we had - that is what we found when we arrived. The hotel is a modern, careful, comfortable and complying with its promises. The reception is not 24 hours in presence but they are still pending for what you need. The room is spacious and with everything necessary. They take care of many details such as putting your name on TV or change the towels daily, something unnecessary but surprising, as it is not done even if you want to in hotels with more stars. The bed is super spacious and very comfortable, like the cotton, it seems to sleep between cotton. The Nordic is very warm. The bathroom is very pleasant, the shower has a manner and a cascade and the pressure is perfect. The location is not the best if you like to stay in the centre of the city, but in half an hour's walk you are on the Beach de la Concha and the hotel is in a fabulous neighborhood where there are supermarkets, fruits, The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. We parked it literally at the hotel door and, for less than €3.50 a day we were unoccupied. In the end, this hotel is worth a lot and we will repeat if we return to San Sebastián without doubt. It is true that, by putting a little back the saban that had been out, I found some hair that wasn't ours, but I understand that it's complicated to control it 100%.

I am firmly of the view that hotels are for travellers and many people travel by car these days. The first thing that you realise when you turn up is that there is no parking. It is in a narrow street in the old town. The receptionist said that they have a few spaces but you have to reserve them. No point telling you that after you get there. We were then directed to some free street parking about 1/2 mile away but of course there were no spaces so the only other alternative is paid for parking about 1/2 a mile away but you then have to walk up many flights of stairs to get back to the hotel. The room was a reasonable size but basic. The Wi-Fi was just rubbish. If you need it go elsewhere. The biggest problem here was despite the ”masks are obligatory” signs in the hotel there was absolutely no attempt to enforce it. At the time we were there Spain was having some outbreaks, they should have been doing something about it. We didn't feel safe. My advice is to keep away.

This is a no frills hotel but with a difference. The staff are absolutely superb, very accommodating. The room was immaculate and very comfortable, with a fridge a safe and a tv. Breakfast was excellent and extremely fresh and well presented. Parking was in an underground car park secured 24hours a day which cost 17.00 euros, a little pricey I think. Superbly quiet hotel with easy access to the centre. This is an immaculate hotel, we'll run with very good attention to detail. Excellent comfortable bed in a very quiet area. We will definitely be returning to this hotel
