Very peaceful. I snorkelled at front of resort, have to swim a fair distance out to hit reef as mostly kelp till you get to the buoy. At that point it feels a bit sketchy if you’re alone as I was, but there’s def some interesting things to see. Lots of blue starfish, clown fish and saw some puffer fish among many others. Resort is 8km from Anda town which hasn’t really got much going as far as food options go. The food at the resort is decent with enough variety. I booked the room facing the ocean, good view but if you’re a solo traveller all the pluses don’t justify the price of 6000 peso a night. If you’re a couple and want a peaceful romantic getaway where you don’t want to leave the compound this is more suitable. Staff are nice and helpful in restaurant, Richard at dive centre was helpful. The English guy who runs the dive centre doesn’t seem too interested in you if your not signing up for one of his dives.

The hotel has a beautiful environment, and the waiters have a good attitude. Although the restaurant has to be booked, it tastes good. The airport is too far into the hotel and the traffic is inconvenient. The hotel is very quiet. I often hear the sound of breathing. I feel good overall!

The hotel is located in Anda, away from the complex of Panglao and Tagbilaran. The entire resort has 16 rooms, closed management, very good privacy, with large white sand beaches and clean sea water. The hotel's double rowing boats and skateboards can be played for free. If you are not tall, you can snorkel at the beachside of the hotel. For free, the hotel’s diving club also provides life jackets. There are several professional diving instructors in the hotel's diving club to teach diving. The hotel's boat is going out for diving three times a day (for a fee). As long as ten minutes of boating, both my husband and I participated, seeing turtles and many fish and corals, regret it. In Panglao, I wasted time to go to Baricasa. There are many similar faults and corals on the bottom of Anda, so I can see a lot of things and the one-on-one coach here is very safe. Many guests are diving two times a day. However, this resort is located in Anda, two hours drive from Tagbilaran, renting a car from Tagbilaran to 3000P, we have a car park from Panglao to play the Butterfly Garden, the tarsier reserve and the Chocolate Hill total 5000P fare. We had a last minute booking but Ralf was quite accommodating over the phone. Got there late at night and the staff made us feel welcome right away. We booked the family studio and the 2 ocean front apartments, which were just the right size for everyone in the group. The apartments did have an ant issue in the bathroom, but the staff responded quickly. There are 4 medium sized dogs on the property who like to hang around the table while you’re dining, which was one of the highlights for the kids. Every morning of our stay, folks from our group walked from the resort all the way to Alona Beach and encountered some fascinating sea and shore creatures such as crabs and starfish.
