Premier Inn Guildford North (A3)

In town centre, very convenient. Beefeater is next to the hotel. Difficult to find the reception but after all nice experience. Good value.

Stayed in a good quality premium room. Friendly staff, plenty of parking, clean. It was about 30 mins walk into town. Dreadful night sleep due to wind flapping their premier inn Sign next to the bedroom. This seems to be plastic stretched over a wooden frame presumably to save money but it asked like a drum! External noise is evidently not covered by their goodnight guarantee because “it was wind” rather than the sign’s design! I assume that this guarantee therefore is not worth the paper it is written on….. To be balanced hey did offer us breakfast as a result. Advice- don’t accept a room in high wind next to a sign.

Stopped at Premier Inn Guildford for a night and it is a great place - clean, air conditioned rooms , friendly reception,free car park and nice restaurant attached. I even had a little surprise in my room - thank you so much 😊 I would definitely recommend Premier Inn Guildford

We stayed as a twosome in the Premier Inn, Guildford North, for three nights. There we met up with three people whom we seldom manage to see, because we live hundreds of miles apart from each other, and having time together over a leisurely meal was important to us. Our ages are 80,80, 81, 85 and 94 respectively. Our rooms were much as one would expect from a Premier Inn, and the hotel is a much quieter place in which to stay than its position close to a busy road might suggest. The outstanding feature of our stay was the calibre of the staff, and the extent to which they did all they could to look after us. All of us felt so well watched over and cared for. For example, on our first morning, we were allowed to spend two hours lingering over our breakfast as we caught up animatedly with each other's lives. This included giving us the opportunity to "stay put" whilst the staff began to lay out the tables for lunch. There was always a member of staff willing to give us a helping hand with cases and the like if we looked in need of it. Nothing was too much bother for them. To be treated with such care and concern mattered a great deal to us. We would certainly go back again.

The rooms are not made up unless you make a special request. Even after requesting this on the second day, our room was not made up but the towels and cups were the only thing which were changed. You have to specify each and every thing you want done, such as make the beds and empty the bins. The air con was set at 22 degrees and was hard to work out how to switch it off. That said, the beds were comfortable.

Usual premier inn standard, as expected. Sunday Breakfast spoilt by out of control and noisy children, with parents who could not or would not keep them in check. The breakfast staff could have done more to control the situation. or a separate area for families would help.
