De Vere Horsley Estate

One of our favourite places to stay. Staff always helpful, good accommodation , food fine , convenient location for Grange Park Opera, lovely grounds for strolling in . You seem to think of everything!

Excellent hotel, rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and food was at a good standard.

Absolutely disgusted at this place the room was dirty had bugs on the bed dark & awful the pillows and bed was terrible definitely a rip off for the money we paid!staff are rude and Unhelpful the photos advertised are definitely not what you get! Spoiled my daughter’s birthday!

Just returned from a 2-night stay at De Vere Horsley Towers (18th July 2025), and once again, it was a fantastic experience. This was our second time staying, and everything was just as great as we remembered—beautiful room, excellent breakfast, and truly wonderful staff throughout. The setting is peaceful and full of character, making it the perfect getaway. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit!

I booked a junior suite at this De Vere Horsley for our wedding anniversary, expecting a special and memorable experience based on the luxurious photos and descriptions on the hotel's website. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what was promised, and our stay turned out to be quite a disappointment. Upon arrival, we were made to wait extra time for the room to be ready – not a huge issue on its own, but it was only the beginning. When we finally entered the room, we were shocked to find that it was nothing more than a standard room, and a rather cramped one at that. The room bore no resemblance to the spacious, elegantly styled junior suite shown in the hotel’s promotional images. When we raised the issue with the reception staff, we were told that the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do to correct the situation. There was a vague promise of compensation, but we heard nothing during the rest of our stay. Only a small refund was issued a few days later, which in no way made up for the disappointment of what was supposed to be a special occasion. We took photos of the actual room compared to what was advertised, and the difference is glaring. Honestly, had we known how small and plain the room would be, we would never have booked it for such an important occasion, regardless of price. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one to warn others. Be cautious – this hotel does not deliver what it advertises, and customer service is sorely lacking when things go wrong.
