The staff were very friendly and efficient, but one stood out as superb. Martina was phoned by an old man trying to recoup money from a train company (which had cancelled his train) for his overnight expenses at the Asperion. Martina sent him a PDF of his expenses, which he couldn't open on his old computer. She was so worried about him that she phoned him back twice, sent him his expenses in two other formats, and made sure he understood what to do. It was totally above and beyond her duty, and I was so impressed (I was waiting for a taxi and heard the whole thing). I enjoyed being at the Asperion, but it was more like a B&B with the option of dinner than a hotel. Everything was clean and breakfast was good, but the rooms were small and there was no storage space for, eg, folded clothes.
