Allegro Isora

We’ve just returned from a 2 week visit to Allegro Isora as a family of 4 with 2 children aged 6 and 11. I would recommend this hotel for a family holiday. The children made plenty of friends throughout their stay. Range of nationalities - French, Polish, English, Spanish. Although the hotel was busy, you could always get a sunbed whatever time of day you arrived. However, you might not be able to get a sunbed exactly where you want it! The main activity pool was always packed but the family pool (with the slide) and the relaxing pool always had available sunbeds. As previous reviews mention, there is a limited number of umbrellas which could be an easy solve. The towel police were out and about before 9am as you’re not allowed to reserve sunbeds. They bag up all the towels and take them to reception if there’s no one sitting on them. Some people got very irate at this but there are signs up all over the place! One thing to mention about the pool area, it seemed like the area around the pool wasn’t cleaned every day so could get a bit grubby and slippy. The pool seemed to be cleaned every day but this is maybe something that could be worked on. Towels provided and could be changed every day. Food - breakfast all the usual things you’d find. Not overly busy if you go early but sometimes a queue if you go later. However, we often ate at the pool snack bar as they do a breakfast there too! Lunch and dinner - a wide range of food available to cater for every choice. The only thing we found strange was that they put up a bar for dinner so you have to wait in line to get drinks despite the machines being the same ones you use for lunch. Dinner was manic the first night but it was a Friday, we found that if we went around 7.30 it was a perfect time, not too busy. But the rest of our stay, dinner was no more chaotic than any other AI buffet! Drinks - the range of cocktails was a little poor on AI but it was ok- plenty of spirits. Would have preferred a few more choices - even the AI+ didn’t have a massive selection. Entertainment. - daytime there was plenty for adults to do and the kids club ran daily which my youngest enjoyed! Jenifer, Alex and Sergio are fab with the kids. Evening entertainment - the mini disco - there was a lot of talking and chatting and not as much dancing which my little one wasn’t too impressed with! And the quality of the ‘show’ varied from night to night. Jonny Circus was the highlight, but the 2 magicians and the Influfoamers (one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen!) were questionable! However, Emmanuel at the drinks truck worked tirelessly every night- massive shout out to him! My daughter thought he was fab. The hotel is in a quiet area with not much around, however that didn’t really bother us as we didn’t want to stay somewhere just like Las Americas. We stayed in C block which was peaceful as it wasn’t around the pools. I would visit here again, but I wouldn’t class it as a 4 star, more 3 1/2 stars.

Fantastic value for money with good food, entertainment and attentive staff. Would go back without any hesitation
