Vandaag heerlijk geluncht in dit restaurant! We hadden deze tip gekregen van de verhuurder van ons huisje omdat het restaurant van zijn familie is. Goede porties, met zorg bereid en zeer vriendelijke bediening. Op het eind kregen we zelfs een klein toetje van het huis, erg lief!

Nette Unterkunft mit nettem Personal.
Nette Unterkunft und super freundliches Personal.
Zimmer war sauber, es fehlen vieleicht 2 Stühle.
Wenn vor der Tür die Bank bequemer wäre, würde das das ganzen noch um etliches aufwerten.
Wir waren für 2 Nächte. Also Zwischenstop vollkommen ausreichend.
Frühstück und Abendessen waren ebenfalls ok.

Wonderful, welcoming staff. Easy hike to their private Rio Celeste swimming hole and easy drive to volcano hike. All in all, a wonderful stay.

The owners are wonderful and very helpful. The rooms are nothing fancy, but exactly what we expected. The food was delicious and very reasonable! And I loved the talking bird. Great place to stay for cheap and had what we needed

Excellent stay, meals, and location
The property is beautiful and we saw birds from our porch. The room is comfortable. It has a relatively big bar fridge. Gerardina is very friendly and helpful and her sister too. They handle the front desk and serve meals. It's a family business.
The restaurant has very good food at reasonable prices. It is open on the sides, so you can see the flowers and plants surrounding it. Also, you can see hummingbirds and other birds.
The location is excellent, very close to the national park.
As for swimming, I went in Rio Celeste - Danta Free River Pool. It is fairly shallow, but a good place to cool off. Just park near the bridge. We also took the Sendero Las Sorpresas and swam there. The swimming area is protected from the current and it's gorgeous. However, the trail to get there has a lot of steps and it is slippery in places, so wear hiking boots.
