Le Château situé dans la commune de Guarene de style baroque domine de belles régions classées par UNESCO du faîte de leur importance culturelle, historique et naturel : -Les Langhe, le Monferrato et le Roero.Trois forces différentes dans un même territoire. On aperçoit entre autres,Barbaresco la divine et ces superbes collines viticoles . Le jardin à l’italienne de cet hôtel, Relais et Châteaux est d’un art scénique exceptionnel.Avec une vue sur les villages environnants et les Alpes enneigés en toile fond du côté des collines du bas Piémont de la région Roero . Cette ancien musée est devenu un hôtel comprenant de vastes pièces prestigieusements décorées. Chaque lieux est unique et emprunt d’histoire. Les chambres sont spacieuses et d’un romanesque indéniable. Le service est discret et efficace. Le restaurant est une merveille de découverte de la gastronomie italienne dans une salle à manger d’exception. A beautiful old castle on top of a hill. Preserved charmingly. Big rooms with wonderful view. Very friendly staff . Beautiful spa with swimming pool,hamam, sauna ,salt room and massage treatments. The restaurant is marvelous-good food in an elegant atmosphere.we had tartare,agnolotti. Lamb in 3 ways of cooking-everything was tasty and well served. We ask for a glass of local wine and have 2016 wonderful Barbaresco. The whole experience was amazing. We recommend highly if you can afford the experience..

I have stayed here a number of times and have never been disappointed. A fabulous place and a proper 5 star hotel. All staff are fantastic.

It is a unique experience and lovely. The grounds are spectacular, the rooms wonderful, and the service warm and friendly. One has a vantage point of the entire valley, and yet is only a 10 minute drive from the charming city of Alba. I would note that as a reviewer I travel internationally 3 to 4 times per year, and at age 68, have had considerable hotel experience. Definitely worth the visit.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel concierge was extremely helpful with lunch reservations outside of the hotel and wine tasting. They also provided a print out list of restaurants and the town they were located (ex barolo, alba, neive, etc) and loved how each night they would provide a print out of the weather forecast. One of my absolute favorite at the hotel was the food and wine, incredibly delicious. We dined here 2 nights in a row. Highly recommend. The only part that I did not like was the drive towards the hotel. No boulders at all, so a driver is recommend if going out to drink. Other than that, beautiful stay with lots of history.
