Orange Hotel (Guangzhou Beijing Road Pedestrian Street Yuexiu Park)

The location is great! It's in the city center, so taking a taxi anywhere isn't too far, and there's a subway station within walking distance, which makes getting around super convenient. Since I was staying for 4 nights, the front desk was very thoughtful and upgraded me to a room with a small window. The cleanliness and service were both excellent, and the front desk staff patiently helped me find my package. What I liked most was the large table in the room – perfect for eating takeout and doing makeup comfortably. The HUAZHU mini-program or app is super handy for checking if the washing machine and dryer are in use and for setting up completion reminders. The only minor drawback was the strange bathroom layout in my room type; the door almost hit the toilet when opened, and the toilet itself was crooked. The glass partition door for the shower was blocked behind the first bathroom door, leaving very little space to move around. It was genuinely inconvenient, and I forgot to take a picture.

When I checked in, I asked for a quieter room, but I was given one right next to the AC unit. Fine, I could live with that thanks to the soundproof windows. I went into the room and leaned on the desk for a moment before going out to eat, only to find the desk was dirty with sticky black spots, which got on my clothes. I wanted to do laundry, but I couldn't see the washing machine's status from my room. I had a child with me, and I figured the laundry room must be on a public floor, accessible without a key card, so I left without it. Big mistake! It wasn't accessible, and I had to take the stairs. The doorknob to the stairwell (which was a fire escape) was broken, and I got trapped inside. I knocked, but no one heard me. It was hot and scary. I quickly ran up to the next floor and finally got out of the fire escape. But without my key card, I couldn't get back to my room's floor. I asked a staff member to swipe me up, but they wouldn't. I had to wait for a cleaning lady to come and swipe me back to my room. It was quite an adventure!

The room was very spacious. The lobby also offered complimentary juice and coffee. When I checked in, the front desk immediately arranged for a robot to deliver my package to the room, which was a nice touch!

The location is really convenient; it's easy to get everywhere. The front desk service was also very good.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around, especially with the subway station so close by. There are also convenience stores nearby. The front desk staff are all very warm and have a great attitude. My only minor complaint is that the hotel doesn't have non-smoking rooms, so some rooms might have a smoky smell. However, you can easily request a room change, and the staff are always happy to help with that.

The front desk service was excellent; they were very accommodating. The hotel's location is also convenient, not far from the main attractions. The room facilities were complete, but the bedding was a bit unclean, with a slight odor and some bloodstains. This definitely needs improvement. Despite that, I would still come back again.

The hotel has a good location, right next to Yuexiu Park and the Museum of the Nanyue King. It's close to the elevated highway, so there's a bit of noise.
