This hotel is an old house with a history of more than 100 years. It is located in the center of the town. The hotel is very beautiful. The hotel restaurant is always crowded with people and there are band performances.

This hotel is highly rated, and it mostly makes sense, but their service / reception staff undermine the experience quite strongly, even when relatively little is asked of them. The rooms are spacious, the hotel big and with lots of character, the location spectacular, and while it's far from high end, you'd have to be pretty sensitive to complain about the amenities I'd suggest. However, we returned from our room one day to find a towel missing (the hand towel had admittedly been used to clean make-up so they opted to replace it, presumably). When we returned we asked for a hand towel (as we now had none) and they advised they would send one. They didn't. 1.5 hours later we asked again, and we went out. Coming back a further 1.5 hours later and ready for bed, it still wasn't there. Speaking to the manager, she then informed me there was no other clean towel in the hotel but after 20 minutes of me standing at reception eventually handed one over. The next day, we left the key at reception at 7am as we had a running event - when we returned at 2pm the room had still not been cleaned, and they said they didn't know the room was unoccupied despite having the key at reception. These should be simple communication issues, but seemed too much for the reception staff.

Es un hotel muy lindo !! esta en excelente ubicacion , esta cerca de todo, practicamente vas caminando a todos los lugares de interes en el centro de Guanajuato. El trato es muy cordial y amable por parte de todos los empleados del hotel, estacionan tu vehiculo y tambien te ayudan a sacarlo del estacionamiento cuando termina tu estancia. La comida no puedo opinar porque nunca comi en el hotel, pero las habitaciones son muy comodas, y sobre todo mucha limpieza, se siente desde que entras que es un hotel muy limpio, sabanas toallas almohadas todo esta muy limpio.

What a beautiful hotel. I loved staying here. The location is excellent for all things Guanajuato (keeping in mind that means it's excellently located near the nightly entertainment on the square, so bring your earplugs if that's a problem for you) Sylvia at the front desk is kind and very helpful. As is Manual in the restaurant I will be back!

This property was right on the place called Jardines de la Union..surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars and just about everything you need and all with in walking distance.
