We had a really nice stay. The design is really top notch. The vouchers for cocktails at the pool were appreciated. They also helped us with a 9 am early check in for a fee after arriving on a redeye. The bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.

Check your folio for false charges
It stings to say, because I really enjoyed my time at this hotel, but I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. After checkout, I was surprised to see more than a dozen erroneous minibar charges in my folio. None of these items had even been present in my room!! When I asked the staff for clarification, not only did they not apologize for the error, they suggested the mistake was mine. I was floored. Absolutely never again.

Nice vibe, but the rooms are too small with a bad layout. The lighting is bad, not many outlets, and they charge you $300 for the sheets if your wife gets a little bit of makeup on them, that can more than likely be washed out. Other than that, it was alright.

Who built this place? The shower had yellowed, the layout was weird and inefficient and the space was dated. This looks like someone’s first attempt at a boutique hotel that was then sold to Marriott and forgotten about. It hardly had any outlets, iron with no board, basic room is small and cramped, speaker with no cord, weak Internet. The bathroom seems to me like it’s a prefab bathroom from Chinese importer, Alibaba. Pedestal sink with no storage, mix of cool vintage brass fixtures and dated chrome fixtures. Front desk does not make you feel welcome. They keep their head down. We had to go back after day 1 and ask for breakfast vouchers and as Bonvoy members we were not offered an upgrade, even though rooms were available. No local recommendations or information on airport transfer. The chilaquiles breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever had. This hotel seems to be trying to cut back at the expense of guests. We passed by a bunch of really cute boutique hotels. Check out Google maps and find a place that will appreciate your business.

great vibe, ragged rooms.
The property had a very nice vibe and the outdoor and common spaces in the lobby are very welcoming. However the rooms are really dated and the furniture is in very bad shape. The bed was pretty comfortable but the linens were not nice. I think this probably was a terrific hotel 20 years ago and will be again when it the powers spend some money on updating the rooms.
