Our day at Buena Vista del Rincón Adventure Park, Hotel & Spa was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by Costa Rica’s lush greenery and vibrant tropical foliage, every moment was packed with excitement, natural beauty, and warm hospitality. We began with a peaceful horseback ride along a scenic forest trail—an ideal way to connect with the incredible surroundings. From there, the pace picked up with a thrilling water slide—cold, yes, but an absolute blast and an unforgettable experience! Next up was the ziplining adventure, which offered breathtaking views and the chance to spot monkeys and waterfalls along the way. The treetop rope course added an extra dash of adrenaline before we broke for lunch. The meal was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Costa Rican. The afternoon was equally enriching. We watched a traditional sugarcane processing demonstration and an artisan pottery session, where we learned about local traditions and even the symbolism of animals in Costa Rican culture—a thoughtful and memorable touch. We ended the day unwinding in the natural thermal spas. After a brief session in the sauna and a rejuvenating volcanic mud bath, we dipped into five different thermal pools, one of which served us drinks as we soaked. Pure bliss. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable throughout. Every aspect of the day was perfectly planned and executed.
