Great host, typical setting, spacious and comfortable room, very clean. Town center and cheese factory within walking distance. Full breakfast. We will return, good value for money. Parking available, possibility to buy Gruyère there

Excellent location at the foot of the town. A delicious breakfast served by the hostess in the garden (included in the price). A family atmosphere, uncomplicated service, and cozy rooms. Beautifully and cleanly furnished, with toys for children. It's like living in a chalet, more than just a bed and breakfast.

The stay was wonderful, the room was very comfortable, the facilities were impeccable, and the view from the backyard was to the beautiful Gruyères. Eliane was extremely kind to us, even though we didn't speak French and our English was very weak we managed to communicate very well, she told us the incredible story of the family and the production of cheese on their farm, which we were able to taste for breakfast ( incredible). The place and Eliane are very special, we had magical days!

Good quiet location, a bit away from the hustle and bustle, beautiful view of the castle and the mountains. Had a small room on the ground floor; double bed with a bedside table and a tiny table; no closet just some coat hooks. The bathroom is accessed through a sliding door. The room was not cleaned during our stay. There is direct access to the garden where breakfast is served weather permitting. Cheese and jam - both homemade and very good, plus bread and milk from the farm. The landlady is very friendly. Knowledge of French is an advantage, English is also possible.
