We were blown away by the inredible experience we had at White House Guest Farm. From the warm welcome, to the beautiful rooms, everything was perfect. I can highly recommend the dinner as well. It was delicious and served in the quaint kitchen in our house. We just wish we had booked a second night. We will definately be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at White House Guest Farm. They graciously accommodated our group of 16 hikers both before and after our Fish River Canyon hike, making the logistics seamless and stress-free. Transport to and from the hike was arranged for us, which was a huge relief, everything ran smoothly and on time. The guest house itself was cozy, warm, and incredibly welcoming, just what we needed to relax and recharge. The meals were a highlight: a generous spread that truly felt fit for a king. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, including breakfast goodie bags for our early departures (such a considerate touch). They even took the time to show us other nearby venues, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Highly recommended for anyone needing a comfortable, well-organized base for their hike or travels in the area. Exceptional hospitality.

We stayed at The White House as a group of five hikers before and after our Fish River Canyon trek, and it was the perfect base. The rooms were clean and comfortable—just what we needed to rest and recharge. Dolf and his wife were incredibly hospitable, making us feel right at home. The food was a real highlight: hearty, home-cooked meals served in generous portions—exactly what you want before and after a big hike. Highly recommended for anyone planning to explore the canyon!

We had no booking but were greeted with charm by the hosts. The White House was occupied but we were shown to a comfortable double room on the farm. Outside braai area which we didn’t use as we ordered supper. Gastronomic delight, salad, lamb neck, gemsbok vegetables followed by sponge pudding and custard. We ordered the breakfast basket too which exceeded expectations. We had a tour of the White House and for certain we’ll be back
