I loved this hotel. The staff are really helpful and friendly. It was very clean and the beds are really comfortable. Breakfast was everything you need , cooked well and all was fresh. The hotel was close to Gorey so you can easily walk to restaurants and bars . Yet far enough away so as not to feel touristy. It does not have a lift but flights of stairs are fairly short with good rails. Book a ground floor room if stairs are not your thing. We loved it and would definitely return.

Très belle découverte ! Belle situation proche de la mer, au centre ville avec un Morrison à côté et pas loin du port pour les restaurants. Bus à côté aussi. Petit déjeuner simple et très qualitatif avec une salade de fruits frais, viennoiseries, petit dej à l’anglaise aussi bien sûr Accueil très chaleureux et toujours disponible pour aider, donner des conseils… Chambre propre, grande. Certes il peut faire chaud mais ça va avec la fenêtre ouverte. Belle douche. Possible de poser son vélo en sécurité dans une salle à l’intérieur de l’hôtel. Franchement très bel hôtel typique à l’anglaise.

We had a really wonderful stay at the Maison Gorey hotel in Jersey. We loved that it was in a quiet area yet with still plenty to do and see and several buses running regularly to and from St Helier. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and efficient. Our room was beautiful and spotless with a modern TV (we brought a HDMI cable to plug in our laptop to watch our own Prime or Netflix films at night). There is free WiFi in the hotel. Breakfast was a feast of full cooked breakfast and also a continental choice every day. One of the things we thought was an extra special touch was the use of the dining room in the evening; guests can bring in their own food (fab Chinese takeaway minutes walk away opens till 10.30pm - handy after a long day walking and a few drinks in one of the local bars) and use the microwave and cutlery, plates etc provided and sit at a table to eat. There are a good few lovely places to eat in Gorey Village itself or a short walk up to Gorey Pier. Over all, we had a fabulous time and we will be back again and look forward to staying in Maison Gorey again.

I really enjoyed my stay with the Maison Gorey.
When looking into my stay I wanted to see what the breakfast included and only saw that there were cereals and croissants. To my suprise there was a beautifully cooked breakfast available with plenty of toast and a hot drink. The staff were attentive and friendly which added to the stay greatly.
The room I expected in the package was a single and again I was pleasantly surprised to find a twin room and the beds placed together to create a larger bed. The facilities in the room were clean. Well looked after and the fridge stocked well. The shower area was a good size and the shower itself was very good.
The hotel is positioned only a short walk away from the centre of Gorey itself. But if you ever needed anything there is a Morrisons just down the road. There are a couple of eateries aswell, a pharmacy and other convenient local stores. All well within reach.
The liberty bus company do an amazing job servicing Gorey and the surrounding hamlets and there are bus stops a short walk away from the Maison Gorey which made getting around very easy.
The beach is only a short walk away with a cafe hut a short walk from the pathway.
Overall I had a great trip and this was made very comfortable with my stay at the Maison Gorey.

Property was old style very clean, excellent facilities and staff were very friendly and helpful. Hopefully i will come back again next year. People in general were very friendly.
