It took 3 rooms to get it right. My granddaughter wanted a bagel for breakfast and they said there was no à la cart. I had to buy a full breakfast for $14 so I was very upset that we could not by one bagel so I went to the front desk and the lady let her have a bagel so I think they need to fix that. Then there is supposed to be bar there there was no bar. They shouldn’t advertise a bar and when you get there, there isn’t one. Just make sure you check out your hotel first before going.

The hotel looked great from the outside and in the lobby but the room did NOT. It appears the owners bought an old Hampton Inn and "converted" it to a Hilton Garden. The bathtub was coming away from the wall. The sink was severely cracked. The TV was the smallest ever! There was old mold around the tub. The bed slept pretty well and the pillows were nice. I have no clue how this place is #2 in Groton; doesn't say much for the other hotels. And this one was EXPENSIVE.

Spent one night here. The hotel room is ok. Bed was not comfortable. They are worthy of 4 stars for their stellar front desk and morning breakfast crew. Breakfast was good and had a nice selection. The team are friendly and helpful. Thanks for being awesome!

This place is super clean and very spacious. It’s right next to Walmart which is super handy when you have forgotten something. They even connected the parking lots!. The pullout couch for the kiddos was actually really comfortable. It’s been maintained and plan to stay here again. Only recommendation, the shades are not dark. If you have kiddos, consider bringing a blackout curtain. The rooms are very bright, the blinds are not darkening.

Do you like rooms that smell like stake smoke and aren't regularly cleaned? Do you like having no shampoo or clean towels for the duration of your multiple day stay, even after requesting them? How about staff that lie about systems being down, being out of shampoo, or needing to request any kind of room refresh despite signs everywhere saying it's done every other day? How about if you DO request turnover, it just doesn't happen? What if I told you that you could have all that and somehow less all for the low, low cost of double the rates of comparable hotels?? That's right! If this sounds like the place for you, please by all means stay here at the Hilton Garden Inn Mystic/Groton! They'll take an exorbitant amount of your money and do the bare minimum or less to make your stay as unpleasant as possible. Stay away from this outdated, unclean and poorly run establishment. It's Hilton in name only. You're better off sleeping in your car or going to literally any other hotel.

It's not bad. The hotel is showing its age a bit, but it's a decent stay. It's relatively clean, and the housekeeping staff is nice. The hotel is in a good location, with easy access to the highway, restaurants, etc. Walmart is right next door.

We stayed with 2 other couples and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable bed. The young man who checked us in was kind, polite and, knowledgeable about the area and hotel. Breakfast was good for this type of buffet, plus coffee was always available. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked like fun. I wish I knew who the night manager was, young with dark hair, because he did such a great job.

I was a little concerned with some of the reviews but chose to go with my gut feeling! So glad we did - the staff were amazing, room was exceptional and clean Bathroom had the most amazingly hot shower. Yard space for our doggo to explore and he gives the treats offered 4 paws! Perfect location, ample parking which felt secure. Close to shopping and restaurants. I can recommend the Hilton Garden InnMystic//Groton without hesitation! Thank you!

We were in Groton for a family wedding; very well placed within easy access to I-95 and places to eat. Quiet room and friendly staff. Coffee in the lobby. Room well appointed with fridge and microwave.
