Just returned from a quick 2 night stay at the Benn Conger Inn. We stayed in the Dutchman Suite which was extra large and spotless. Shelley the innkeeper is a gem. Always there to greet you and make sure you have everything you need for a memorable stay. The highlight is her breakfast. This morning in addition to the usual buffet items of breads, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt etc...there was also a fresh baked berry croissant casserole and cinnamon roll french toast. This is just the beginning because it is followed by whatever style of eggs you'd like with your choice of potatoes, bacon or sausage. We are already thinking about a return trip. Thank you Shelley!

I was traveling with my children to Canada and stopped in the Finger Lakes Region for an evening. Even before we got there the family reached out to make sure all of our needs were met. When we did arrive we were greeted on the porch and welcomed inside with the history of the home. My daughter who is a huge history buff loved the information. Our suite was perfect and super comfortable. Every detail was taken care of. The next morning we were treated to an excellent breakfast: made to order eggs, potatoes and choice of meat, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, muffins, bread, bagels, juices, coffee, and tea. Anything and everything you could ask for. We will definitely be back. It was such a lovely stay.

This is the cleanest and most comfortable place we’ve ever stayed at. It truly feels like a home away from home. The staff is polite, courteous and always available to meet your needs. The rooms have the perfect combination of an antique feel with the benefit of modern amenities. The breakfast is fantastic with a wide assortment of baked goods, waffles, fresh fruit, hot/cold cereal, juices, tea/coffee and eggs to order with many sides to choose from. We were traveling for a baseball clinic but I would go back just to stay here. We’re already planning a trip in the fall as every room has a gas fireplace and a private porch. Perfect to enjoy the change of seasons. I don’t usually write reviews one way or the other…. but this place deserves a special recognition.

Excellent, Inn was beautiful and charming. Breakfast was extensive with many offerings and homemade. I would go back if I was in the area again.

This was an awesome surprise! Our son was playing baseball in Cortland and I found this Inn on line. The reviews were great and the photos were nice. Seldom does a place far exceed the photos! We stayed in the Dutchman Suite - what a gem! Spacious, bright, great bed and pillows. The grounds are beautiful and we had some deer walking outside the window while we ate breakfast. And what a incredible breakfast it was! All fresh, quiches, waffles, fruit… Lovely! Staff could not have been kinder. Only 15 min to cortland and 25 to Cornell. We only stayed in the “main” house but apparently the other house is newer and each room has a balcony and fireplace… highly recommend!

Benn Conger Inn was peaceful, clean, charming, and the bed very was comfortable. The breakfast was made to order and served quickly. Shelley is a great hostess. I asked her for a dinning recommendation, and her suggestion (The Antler) was spot on.

We enjoyed our return visit to the Benn Conger this weekend. Mrs. Shelley is such a lovely hostess. It is very quiet and relaxing space, staff is always on hand to answer any questions you might have. We were greeted with a new bathroom remodel this year, well done!

Loved the inn and all the decor and art work. Well done. The rooms were beautiful and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Shelly, the manager, is lovely and very personable, professional and knowledgeable about the inns history. We are definitely going back!
