The hotel is very clean with a great location in the centre of the city. The room is spacious and even though there are three beds in the room there is space to move and place suitcases. The room is quiet with ac. Breakfast is 18 euro per person so we decided to walk to Starbucks instead.

One night stay for 24 hours in Groningen and it did exactly what we wanted. Easy check in, clean room for a family of 4 with 2 sets of bunk beds and a shower. We parked in the Q-Park Rademarkt (€25 for 24hr). Returned after exploring and got a drink from the Hotel Martini bar attached and took it through to the hostel quiet area so we could play a card game with the children. We could have stayed in the hotel bar, there was a pool table and darts board.

I know that you can't have too many expectations when you choose to sleep in a hostel, but the price wasn't exactly cheap so expectations were a bit different; the triple room had a bunk bed that creaked with every breath + a single bed next to it and a bathroom with a shower... no surprises compared to the description. However, the shower tray with the hair of the person who preceded you is not good at all!! We reported it to the receptionist at checkout who said she would report it to the management, and that was it. In hindsight, we should have notified the reception immediately and asked for the bathroom to be cleaned, instead of complaining later. The hostel is located inside the Hotel Martini, which would seem to be of a much higher quality, at least through the common areas and the reception.

I understand it is an hostel and "maybe" I shouldn't expect anything, but my bed and my towel were dirty so I asked to the reception and I received a cleaned towel, but for the bed the answer was just "I'm so sorry". So.....I think before receiving guests it's important to control the room just to be sure to offer at least a basic service: a room cleaned.

Budget hotel in the Groningen Centrum
Great location, the room is pretty small, the bathroom also pretty small. But clean ans affordable
But unfortunately, on our last the the lift is under maintenance. So we have to bring out luggage thru stair and quite painfull

Eursonic, zoeken naar goedkope maar ook prettige verblijfplaats. Ze hebben een prettige ruime zaal waar ontbeten wordt, en drankjes etc. Dit wordt gedeeld met een ander hotel. Het hostel is niet noemenswaardig, weinig tot niet sfeervol, vreselijke kleuren, en onze kamer waar voor 4, waar we met 3 sliepen was klein, met ingebouwd hok voor toilet en douche (zo een camper douche weet je wel) en een erbarmelijk uitzicht op een binnenplaats en wat daken. Kamer kregen we ook niet goed verwarmd dus eigenlijk zo snel mogelijk daar weer weg. Ik weet het is een Budget hostel maar iets maar cachet mag zoiets wel hebben. Dit genre verblijfplaatsen aan mij niet meer besteed. De goede locatie heft deze beoordeling nog op naar 2 bollen.
