Mercure Hotel Groningen Martiniplaza Reviews

The room was perfectly fine! It had all the facilities you'd need, though it was quite small. The hotel's service was fantastic. For example, we received complimentary drinks in our minibar, including a small bottle of wine, a beer, some soft drinks, and water. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but delicious! The location is also definitely a plus. It's about a 10-minute bus ride to the city center and very close to the Stadspark (City Park). If I visit Groningen again, I'll definitely choose Mercure.

Conveniently located just off the highway exit, it's about 2-3 km from the city center, so having a car is recommended.

The staff were friendly, but otherwise, nothing special. The hot water wasn't really working.

I was charged a €6 service fee that I had already paid. The front desk employee last night didn't even bother to listen to us or find a solution. The hotel was hard to find, adding to the frustration. I'm deeply disappointed with this service. Never staying here again.

Bit far away from centre, around is construction work and hard to find it. Its like in the end of a road behind i a stadium.
